Skig!!!

I am so glad you liked it. I was kinda worried. I didnt get you much junk food because you said you really didnt want much so I figured the pretzels would be just fine. I made those earring/necklace btw. I love stars and purple so it was hard giving them up. I cant wait to see boogs video!!!

It's soooo neat that you can ship the packages looking like presents right in the post like that. What a great idea...
I didnt know you could either until Skig actually mentioned she does it all the time, so I figured since she does it I thought it would be nice to get one all wrapped up!

Great box, kittybethy! Those cocoa stirrers look yummy!

lyricalstar, you did a great job! Everything is just perfect! The necklace and earrings are beautiful! The bath stuff smells great! And Boog always loves to get gifts too.

I'm glad that you didn't sent a lot of junk food. I use to not care how much I got until I realized that it was just piling up and piling up because my husband and I were not eating it fast enough. I still have leftover Snickers and Twix in my refrigerator that I used to bake for Christmas 2008. It's not that I (we) don't like it, I just don't eat much of it.

The pretzels will be gone within a week, though. They're a big-time favorite. I told the hubs I'd share ONE with him. *lol*

skig!!! What a cool box

Sweetiebabyfizzy, I'm glad you liked your box I was hoping you'd like everything

I don't know about Alphabittle... to tell you the truth she was in my collection for the last year, and every time I looked at her I wanted to open her, but then I found a loose one at a flea market and decided I would keep the other one MIB, since she is stunning! Now I have passed on the curse to you, and you shall decide if you open her or not

I was going to mention this before but forgot. I do wrap my swap packages, but I'm almost always sending priority. I also use a lot of packaging tape to secure the paper seams. My PO workers are very nice and pretty familiar with me, so they don't ask questions.

I can't guarantee, though, that other POs will be as easygoing. So I would caution against reusing/wrapping a free Priority box and shipping it Parcel Post. There's always the chance that they could make you unwrap it.

I ran a swap on another forum for Christmas, and my partner was from Canada. She wrapped her box and the stuff inside it, and the Canadian Post called her back in to unwrap everything before it could be sent.

I usually wrap my boxes too, but I didn't wrap this one. I don't know if this is my imagination, but I think wrapped boxes take longer somehow. The first wrapped box I sent was for the Halloween swap, and it took over 2 weeks to get to my partner in the US. The other one was the Christmas swap, and it took 2 weeks too. This box took less than a week to get to its destination. Maybe it's a coincidence?
