This is great. For some reason, when reading this in my head, Cate Blanchett is narrating as you. Do you sound like Cate Blanchett by any chance?
Can't wait for more...

The Saga of Frostbite : Restoring a Mountain Boy *part III up*
* PART III - Conclusion*
The next morning, Frostbite awoke to a delicious perfume in the air and found a tasty breakfast of warm oatmeal and rainbowberries on a tray next to his bed, and also a note from the Pony Doctor:
" Good Morning Frostbite,
Hope this note finds you feeling well. After breakfast, try your legs out. The reinforced foot is stronger than a natural hoof, and while you might find it feels heavy at first it likely will become your dominant foot once you become accustomed to its substance. I'll see you in the ward at noon for your re-pigmentation. "
Frostbite gobbled down his food. He was famished! Then he stood up and turned around.
The new foot did feel odd, but it was quite strong. He tapped his toe on the floor. Then
he took a few careful steps, and then some more. Then he tossed his head up and kicked because he was feeling so fit!

Down the corridor he paced at a cheerful trot. He could feel a power tingling in his right front hoof and was aware that he could probably kick through a stone wall with it if he tried to.
In the hospital ward, the doctor was waiting for him and mixing the color that would be applied to his new parts:
A good amount of white, a bit of green, and a hint of blue:
"Good morning Frostbite. Will you please put on this gown? I don't want to spatter paint on your minty self."

The wet paintbrush ticked his ear, and he laughed all the while the doctor painted.

When it was over, the doctor led him out onto the sunporch to dry.
Outside the window was a terrace and beyond that, a sandy path winding toward a thatched roof cottage covered with climbing roses.
Frostbite's ears pricked up to the sound of a familiar tiny voice addressing him:

"That's the house where the doctor lives!
Her home is called Rose Cottage, and all of us ponies live in the garden just beyond it.
It's a wonderful place! I can't wait to take you there. So hurry up and get dry!"
Frostbite followed the sound of the voice outside sun porch to the terrace, and there looking up at him was a small yellow pony with big blue eyes:

"Hi Frostbite! I'm Baby Red Roses. Welcome to the Rose Garden! Everybody's waiting to say hello to you, especially the baby ponies! We've never met a real Mountain Boy before! Can you tell us all about where you come from - does it snow all the time in the Great White North? "

Frostbite huffed out with his nose, nickered and nuzzled the baby pony and they started off together down the garden path to join the other ponies. The sun shone warmly on his back and the flowers were sweet in the air. His new hoof tingled, and he could hear birds singing overhead with his new ear, and a number of baby ponies giggling as they ran in and out from under the bushes playing hide - and -seek.
He had no doubt he would be very happy in his new home.
THE END
Thanks for reading!

LLBPonyGirl - I was hoping you would see the finale to the saga of Frostbite b/c I worked your custom baby girl into the story!
marzy - oh, wow thank you! I'm ticked that you liked my story enough to share it with such a tough critic!
So I guess this counts for my March = green show n' tell, right?
