Pony haul!

I was on ebay, whining about prices, when I decided to have a look elsewhere. I looked at my local online trading post and saw this:

and was ecstatic. How many mlp can you spot in there?!

I've since bought the lot - and hubby picked them up for me yesterday... they're all in the salon... boy there was some epic grossness!

What ponies can you guys see? I'll reveal whats actually in there in a few hours.... :P

Whoa, that is one giant haul, I can't really tell who anyone is because I don't know pony names hardly at all. I'll check back when you reveal them.

missing are:

Dainty Dahlia - she's proven quite the job, any Perfume Puff pony cleaning tips would be appreciated!

Lavender Ember - she's so brown, poor baby, but her hair and eyes are perfect. Always the way, dammit!

Tootsie - I'm not sure if it's pindot mould or ingrained dirt, but it aint coming off. Going to dehead her and have a look inside, still hanging around the salon.

G2 Dainty Dove - still soaking... will never be white, but she'll do!

2 x G1 plushies (lickety and firefly) - any cleaning tips for those would also be appreciated!

And Obviously the two keypers and the fakies, 1 x lanard with pink diamonds symbol, 2 x unipeg in the dancing butterflies look-alike pose, and a mummy and baby bird fakie set, as well as a set similar to what I had as a child, in much the same much-loved condition, purple piggy earth mummy and 4 babies.

Great clean-up! They look very happy to be in their new home... and slightly off topic, but the baby ones remind me of Miss Piggy, a little bit (not just yours, most G1 babies).

Wow! You lucked out! I see Nightglider and Yum Yum and Sand Digger. You got some great ones! Good luck cleaning them up.

As for clean up tips. I had a perfume puff with hair full of sticks, dead bugs and mud to clean once. I just washed it with shampoo and conditioner and took a very wide toothed comb (it was actually a pony comb) and SLOWLY worked through the hair to get all the gunk out.

For the plushies, if they are pretty rank, you may want to consider removing the stuffing, throwing the empty plush hide into the washer and then stuffing it with new, clean stuffing and sewing them back up.Good luck with your continued cleaning efforts.

Thanks guys... poor old Dainty Dahlia has yellow stuff in her hair... at first i thought it was unfaded hair, but then I realised her hair is pink... so god knows what that is..! And she's grey. Like really grey. Ick.

The plushies are in super great shape (like most of the ponies actually) just dirty, and Lickety has some hair fading in one spot. I was honestly thinking of just dunking them in a bucket with some warm water, dettol and fabric softener, and then just air drying them in the shade.

The whole lot of them just look like a collection left to sit in storage for too long, somewhere too damp and dusty. The seller said she was a collector, but her boyfriend seemed like he'd told her to get rid of them, she mentioned she'd also just sold off her care bears too.
