Sending money to a New Zealand Bank Account

I bought some ponies from Trade Me, a New Zealand based auction site. Usually I pay with credit card but this transaction is different! The lady doesn't have a credit card or paypal (probably sensible!) and the last time I tried sending money to New Zealand the money never went through and the recipient was told by her bank that if it did it would cost her $15 to withdraw from it!!!!
Has anyone deposited money to New Zealand from Australia.......what is your experience? I really want these ponies but am scared that the money isn't going to go through again.

I'd be willing to help out if it would make it easier coming from a NZ account. I have paypal set up & I live in NZ so of course I have a NZ bank account. My trademe ID is lambosv, eBay lambosv34 & I have heaps of feedback at the Arena..

Hey there, It would have to be done as an International Money Transfer from here, it cant be done via the Aussie Direct Deposit system.

Thats great that Fizzy_NZ can help, since IMTs from here cost $20 at least.......
