This is not a custom post, I'd say restoration one :p

This started when my co-worker asked me to fix her sister's old pony... She told me that it had his ears chewed... Well, I didn't expect this!

"Ears chewed"?!? Half of the ponys face was gone! Hair was a chopped mess... What can you do? Offcourse you smile and promise to try your best (idiot!). Thank god rest of the body was ok, just dirty...
But I used some hair, Cernit and time:

A bit Cernit to inside...

Bit paint and Voila! If you don't look slight color difference, I think I did quite well!

wow. bravo. that is amazing.

That's some primo reconstructive surgery you've done there! *tips hat to you*

That is some amazing work! If I hadn't know he had been reconstructed, I would have figured he just had some really white spots on his face....Brilliant!

that's some pretty good plastic surgery, amirite? :woot:

Wow you rock! What I am wondering is how he got in that shape to begin with? I am curious, what is cernit?
Stacie

Lord knows how he ended up like this! My bet is on scissors or knifes...

Cernit is "Oven bake modelling clay", you sort of bake in oven to make it hard... It comes in various colours and you can blend colours together, too. We mostly use this or Fimo here in Finland.

I tried to find some info on the net, but there's suprisingly small amount of info in english, this is (I think) German product... Well you can try yourselves! :)

That is amazing! I wouldn't have thought he could have been saved! I am super impressed.

AHAHAA! I love puns. So very, very much. *highfives*

Anyway, amazing job on the pony's face! You did awesome on getting the shapes of the reconstructed face to look authentic! I'm sure that friend will be thrilled. :)

that is really impressive! that must have been quite a lot of work...

OMG! I can't believe you could make him normal again! That's fantastic. Great job :)

Excellent reconstruction!

OMG!! poor pony O_O look like it was a victim of a dog's jaw.

You did a wonderfull job :wow1: reconstructin his head.

Holy... gee. You're quite brilliant. You should get into the people version of restoration... there's lots of money in that.

Wow! What did your co worker and her sister say? I bet they were shocked you were able to fix the pony. You did an outstanding job!! :)

Very nice sculpting work.

I don't know how your friend didn't just take one look at the head and bin it. Would have been so much easier to find a replacement head. I hope your work was appreciated.

Thank you all, this was actually quite easy job! If I made it custom, some paint would have make the colour-difference disappear :)

Well, my co-worker or her sister aren't collectors, so they did't quite understand the work I put into it, first she didn't even see, that I made him new mane... When she asked me, if repairs will hold in plays, I just said NO! (It will hold, but rough playing.... nonono!) Well, I just hope that in time they will understand, that the pony is their memory off their childhood, not a toy anymore...
