Hello everyone!
Just wanted to reintroduce myself from years ago. I use to be a regular member here for a few years. It's been hard to get on here because I don't have a desktop anymore. This site just doesnt run well on a phone. But in any case.. so happy to be back and can hopefully engage in some MLP chat!

I work at a handicap society in Ohio, USA. It's a wonderful job!

My fav hobbies are gaming, mlp collecting and caring for my goldfish. They eat from my hands and actually seem to love attention. Very sweet honey fish! I call them my honeyfish :)

My fav ponies are definitely G1.
Some of my favs are:
Fizzy, Bright Eyes, Starflower, Flutterbye, Moonstone, SS Bangles, Baby Wiggles, Star Gleamer, Star Hopper, Napper and of course.. Mimic ;)

If you want to know anything else.. just ask!!

much love!!
amy

Welcome back to the board! How wonderful to have you return to da herd!

Aw Truffles looks sweet. Obviously she is good at hiding her cruel aura from prying eyes. I like that in an evil critter, being one myself.

I never could get decent photos of my fish. I used to raise betta and cichlids a decade ago. I just loved them, fish have way more personality than people realize. Right now I have a little tankful of goldfish I just started up. I thought it might be nice to try fish again, and I have a generator now, so if we lose power I can keep their pump going.

(My last tanks were all decimated when we lost power for over a week in the bitter cold of winter. I couldn't evacuate them fast enough, and cichlids just can't do cold. Lack of oxygen sure didn't help, even though I tried to keep them going by agitating the water myself. It was just sad. I lost Jack Dempseys and Oscars I'd had for years and years.)

Oh I'm so sorry about losing your fish. Having a generator as a back up is such a good idea! There are also battery operated air pumps out there. They will at least keep agitation at the surface to help with oxygen but yeah..losing all your good bacteria is SO hard to deal with!! I've honestly had to cycle with my goldfish a few times.

Get online and buy ya some Seachem Safe. It's a powder which will detoxify harmful ammonia and nitrates. A bottle of the powder will be $10-$20. But it's highly concentrated and a bottle lasts me about a year! And I have a 125 gallon and 55 gallon!

Also.. if you're on fb.. check out group called Goldfish Keepers. TONS of members there. Friendly too!

I will suggest 1 goldfish per 10 gallons of water. They are such messy fish and grow quite large that they require quite alot of space to grow and thrive properly. I have a large Male goldfish who was about 2.5" when I got him.. he's now almost 9" and hes only 3 years old!!

Welcome back to the MLPTP!

Ahh!!! Sorry I missed welcoming you back! I’m usually much better at this.
But I love your fish! They’re the kind of gold fish I would choose as well. ^-^
Anyways, I can wait to see you around more and get to know you better. :)
