G1 Basic Fun Retro Ponies: A Collector's Guide: CELESTIAL PONIES and 40th Anniversary

Wonderful that they are planning more retro releases! ✨
I sooo hope the sales figures will be high enough to justify continuing this line!
I don’t know if they just made less Moonstones or if she just sold out instantly everywhere, but she is so difficult to find, even on eBay and Amazon lol
Starshine is the harder to find one where I live. Moonstone and Sunlight are the two always in stock here.

Starshine is easy to find over here lol, but for some reason she is always around 14.00 -15.00, (along with Parasol). All the others I could find are listed at 10.00 - 12.99.

No idea why the prices should be different.

Turns out, since they all share the same code, the second set shows in stock like the first set, which is why he brought the first set out.
That's extremely dumb -_- Worth sending a grumpy email to corporate about? This doubtless affects other US collectors too

Why is basicfun only releaseing the retro ponies at target I don't like to sport them why don't they have them at Wal-Mart I would buy them then I want them target is to fear away and I don't like to give them my money and eBay more than they were selling I don't now what to

Right? C'mon Walmart, stop being stingy and stock the BF toys.

I actually sent BF an email about it a while ago and told them that the second set, while out for a few months, was nowhere to be seen while marked as “in stock”. Never heard back from them. Seems like I’ll have to send an email to Target as well now.

I remember seeing the collector six a few months ago, with their own display and all. Seems like it was a holiday thing  Walmart is waaaaaay closer to us than Target too.

I know I am in the minority, but I cannot get into the new She-Ra at all. Those are an easy pass for me. My daughter is on the fence. She said she would like Adora if she didn't look like a boy and she hates She-Ra's outfit. I cannot say that I blame her. The originals were SO pretty!

I don't think you're the minority on that. Its kinda got the same hate Voltron had, though its liked by a lot its also disliked by a lot- and I agree I can't find my self watching it lol

I remember I actually did find some at Walmart once. I think it was the holiday thing.

Does anybody know if Tootsie will get a release?
She was the very first pony I ever owned and has a very special place in my heart along with Fizzy✨

Not that I'm aware of.

The Collector ponies were at Walmart. The others probably aren't at Walmart because Walmart chose not to pick them up. It's not Basic Fun's fault. They can't just burst in and leave a pile of ponies on the floor. The store needs to order them.

As far as the 1st set of Rainbow ponies go, they came in boxes of six, one of each character. Moonstone isn't any rarer, but maybe her color scheme was the most appealing to shoppers in your area. With the 2nd set of Rainbow ponies, they also come in a box of six, with Tickle x 2, Confetti x 2, Flutterbye x 1, Trickles x1. (But I assume it will switch to "one of each" once they release Pinwheel and Starflower.)

They can leave a pile of ponies on my floor anyday.

Not that everyone has Meijer's in their area, but I just found some at Meijers. It's like Walmart. I bought up what they had on the shelf 4 scented rainbow ponies and Snuzzle x2(posting them for trade since i already have them) but I just wanted to give people a heads up if they have a Meijer's around check them out too. It wasn't a place I was expecting to find them, and I was there for some other stuff and said 'eh why not, check anyway'
