What is everyone doing lately? I'm already isolated for health reasons. I'm hoping that some of you are doing fun things or catching up on things you may not have had time for before.

We're making some art projects, doing lots of physical therapy, deep cleaning, and yard work. Add in napping and our days are pretty full. Oh! I almost forgot, i get to her my girl practicing her cello, too.

Watching Netflix seeing my nieces napping reading

I'm trying to get a fence up, but rain is hampering me (as well as my stupid leg. I'm needing another cortisone shot and my appointment isn't until the 31st). I have 5 big posts to place so Action Hank and I can hang some new pole fences. I'm wanting to fence the area behind the house (it's maybe two acres) so the ponies on this side of the road will have more grazing. I still need to fence the 6 acres on the land on the OTHER side of the road for that pony herd, but that will take tons of land clearing and I can't afford that right now. One day.

Otherwise we're just doodling along. Watched Akira last night, still as fantastic as ever.

This is what happens when E and I stay inside and binge watch... recycled artwork!

I am sick

I'm still coming into work for now. My job would be difficult to do from home, and since I'm fortunate to be in good health, I intend to keep coming in unless I'm ordered not to... But I'm afraid that might happen, and I'm not looking forward to it. My job wouldn't be fun to do from home, and honestly there's just not that much to do, so I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get enough hours in. :/

I had the unfortunate luck to fall and land on a rock. I landed on the exact spot that I got my shot, because I'm super special like that. My leg went completely numb. (Good thing I borrrowed mom's crutches!) Now my leg is swollen, and wowsa does it hurt!

So, we played board games today! Life, sorry, parcheesi, and go nuts for donuts. At least my pup is happy to have us home. Confused, but happy.

I am fortunate enough to work in an “essential field” (Veternairy medicine) so I work all the time.

Fortunately for me, I’ve been able to take some time away from work with everything going on with Clover. The clinic she’s at has decided to withdraw owner visits to only once a day and only to one person in the family. Because Clover is still in ICU and I worked there, we’ve been doing video chats and updates through the day.

Now because of Covid19, I can’t afford to not self isolate.
1) Because of my MS I have an extremely low immune system myself.
2) My Mom also has MS and severe asthma.
3) Most importantly my grandfather lives with us and is on palliative care during the last stages of his cancer. We are just keeping him comfortable. (He will be 91on Sunday!)

I am also fortunate enough to live in a province where our government has things set up to help people who are loosing income. So, while I’m loosing money being off - I’m not loosing an entire paycheque. Our government has also put into place somethings to help people with making monthly payments on reoccurring bills (mortgage, loans, hydro, electricity, water, etc). You just have to inform yourself and submit for what you are entitled for.

I have been keeping myself busy with cooking, cleaning, baking, cleaning, organizing/selling, taking Fred for lots of walks (poor guy)... just anything really to keep my mind occupied and off the virus and off of Clover as much as possible. I’m also not sleeping well, so I’ve been watching a lot of movies and tv shows on various streaming platforms. Lol Usually at night so I can just fall asleep with the tv on and it’s slightly soothing.

I’ve also been super depressed about selling off parts of my collection, so I’ve admittedly been avoiding coming here sometimes to. :( But I miss it too much to not come and talk with my pony friends. <3

Crafting Cornholio TP hoarder ponies

PLAYING ANIMAL CROSSING NEW HORIZONS LIKE A BOSS- by naming my island ToiletBowl and my character Floatie
My husband followed suit and created his character, Clogger

Other than that, they say "stay home as much as possible!" so naturally I've been to Walmart for 4 days in a row. I wore gloves every time though

Was enjoying books on tape. Walkman finally died order a new one. Still just watching the Witcher and random YouTube stuff and Disney plus.

I'm still working, I don't think that'll change since I'm in healthcare. So my days are pretty much the same. I'm avoiding going anywhere but work but I know my brothers and parents are getting a little restless. All of their employers have closed. I have to admit I would love to be home for a month or two, I could get SO much done! But I also know I'm lucky to have income continuing for as long as I can.
