I peeked in here for the first time in maybe a year today; WOW have I missed a lot.
The new characters are excellent. I love the molded hair designs, but I am glad that they will also have rooted-hair version. APPLE JACK! :)
Nice. I am excited for the G4s. Thanks for the pics, all!
I am so pleased she is going to someone genuinely excited about her, and that she's a special purchase for you. This one came straight from my collection (Oh hi there, student loan bills!), so this is extra pleasing to read.
Hope she arrives soon!
I think Pony Wear is stupid. I am sorry to you Wear Aficionados, but I do. Awesomely, it seems that the G3 line of ponies is full of outrageous clothing blunders, allowing me to appreciate Pony Wear ironically. How many tutus does a pony need? At least 15, it seems.
However, nothing is...
Haha, it was almost surely a case of mistaken identity.
Thanks for the reference, eaton! Unfortunately my Galaxy is not as nice as what Jennifer is looking for. You'll find a mint one sooner than later, though! :)
Ah so! That depends on which Pinkie Pies you have. If you happen to have Pinkie Pie VIII (or is it VII? Who knows..) -- the version that came with the Tea Party set from My Little Pony Live -- he could be worth selling individually.
But I say split them up anyway. Not many people will...
It's true.
To cut back on the rapid turnover of counterfeit diamonds (I presume), you are not allowed to use the name "Tiffany" in titles for auctions with a duration less than 5 days.
This, of course, includes Princess Tiffany. (As well as cassette tapes from the 80's mall-tour singing...
I got an email saying the pony has shipped, but frustratingly the payment was held, then released, leading me to believe I had more money than I did, and then taken again. :P
I have wondered what the community thinks about this for a long time. For those of you who use eBay, do you have any inclination towards or against "PowerSellers"?
(If you are not familiar with the term, I'll explain. :) When an eBay seller meets a certain quota, of either number of sales...
*licks finger and holds it in the air to discern the wind* I forecast a lot of "Baby Frosting" (or Beddie-Bye Eyed Babies in general).
But my own answer: I love to hate Magic Message Windy, because she's so ugly. Fabulously ugly.
I was incredibly fortunate enough to get mine at a Buy It Now for $14. O.o I feel criminal. But I am glad to have it. I usually don't collect re-issues, but FINALLY we get Mayor Pie in a masculine pose. (And the pose this Minty is in is probably my favorite pose of all).
Very few of those first year releases are worth more than $6 (at most) anymore. I'd generalize and say that your ponies will be worth between $3.50 and $5.50, in nearly-new condition. If you put them on eBay individually, perhaps with a $3.50 start on each, the prices will set themselves...
That Sundance isn't actually "Twice-as-Fancy," although she does have similarly elaborate symbols. She is modeled after the Sunshine ponies (Wave Runner, Beachball, Seaflower, etc..), all which have full-body symbols too. :)
