I really like the merponies actually, or at least the non- mane 6 ones. I think the slim noses really suit them and make them look like seahorses, while the mane 6 ones have the same heads as their normal bodies, which is of course a very good design choice if one likes their normal heads, which...

I *think* that's a Chinese unicorn. If I remember right, they are brightly coloured, scaly, and benevolent, so Spike shouldn't have any reason to fear.

I especially like the ruffles on he dress and ceiling-walking Bowtie is fabulous :winkpony:

First I would recommend using a finer paintbrush. I can see the lines around the eye and the eyelashes are a bit thicker than they should be. Try to find a new one whose bristles form a nice point. It doesn't need to be expensive or anything, but it will make painting delicate lines a lot easier...

Ah... I used a decal once, on Biggles Pony. I do not take photographs on the side I tried to put the decal on:unsure: To be fair it was a couple of decades old and the paper had gone all yellowy. (That's my excuse anyway) If I remember correctly it stuck pretty well, but the problem was it...

I haven't used dyes for anything before, but perhaps you could wrap the pony in tinfoil or gladwrap to help keep the dye off it? If the pony isn't already painted you could perhaps use masking tape to hold it in place.
