Thank you, The tail is made from tinfoil and apoxy sculpt and the end fin part is iridescent acetate and wire which I spray painted pale blue on the underside.

Thank you so much. I use apoxie sculpt for my sculpting, it works well with water and air drys within an hour or so- it comes in two parts that need mixing together, you can use a little at a time. Or you can buy sculpey or fimo which I have used before on ponies, just leave the ponies in the...
The pole is actually an old paint brush, I sanded it down and attached to a wooden stand that was lazer cut into a fall leaf pattern, I spray painted the stand black and the edges Pearl purple. I made the lantern from apoxy plastic in moulds and carefully added the candle inside.

Hi all, please meet Candy my new little Witch custom.
She has a unique dye job to her body and re-rooted in pink and blue nylon that was curled.
Her hat and details are all sculpted with apoxie apart from her cookies, cakes they were sculpted in fimo.
She has sculpted fluffy leg warmers too...
I have done it plenty of times, unfortunately you will loose lots of hair, on the plus side it will still look puffy afterwards, just be as gentle and patient as possible and hold the hair close to the head, work from head to tip works best for me.
yes, I went to art school but I learnt to sculpt after I left. :)
