Get those singing voices ready! It's Christmas Eve and it is almost time to start the unwrapping of swap gifts!

On the First Day of Christmas, my pony-friend :flutter2: gave to me....​
 
Guess I'll be the first one to post since I don't know how to sleep in and we don't have any presents in the house to open.. and my mom's at work this morning anyway so we're not eating dinner till this evening... and I'm sorry to say, I'm not looking forward to spending the first part of Christmas with the grinch and grinch jr. (My dad and my brother) Anywho. My parter was CJFullmer.. which really surprised me. I was excited to know what kind of goodies she got for me.

So, on the first day, of course, is the card.. and also this super cute toy soldier ornament... which I'm assuming she made herself. :D

She also sent me some.. cookie ornament things which are really cute... I forgot to get a pic of them and my phone is mostly dead right now anyway. But, I have to tell you, CJ that they didn't quite make it through shipping. The reindeer is a parapalegic now.

You're surprised that I am your partner? I hope you aren't disappointed by what I chose for you. I had a lot of fun with the shopping.

I actually didn't make the toy soldiers. All I added was the string to hang them with. If you look closely, they have a magnet inside...

I was afraid the cookie ornaments weren't going to make it... that's why they were an "open immediately" bonus type gift. Oh well. Hope they smell tasty.

Thank you so much @icecreamgirl ! You should have heard the squeals of joy as I opened my pony. (My husband says there were no "squeals of joy"....) I am so excited to have this pony for my collection and her hair is seriously brand-new-soft. THANK YOU!
 
Oh, I'm so glad it's finally Christmas! Before my pics, first let me remind you all that I'm a math professor. When I saw the card, it reminded me of the saying, "five out of four people had trouble with fractions". I KNEW Skippety Doo (who is SkippI in my mind) was going to spell my name wrong on purpose, and she did! hahaha I love it. On to the pics:

Hehe... I just had to do it since it has been a long time since we've said each other's names. And when I saw this, I thought of you. I can't wait for the other 11 days so you can open the rest of your presents. I'm excited to see your responses :D

I got my box from @MLPMommy4Life

I have to admit, I am almost grateful that I was out of town and couldn't open a gift per day, since I know it would've been really hard to wait to open gifts each day!

It was UNBEARABLE to wait each day.... but I managed. Time to play catch up.

I had *Paradise Island* for my swap partner.... she spoiled me!
