a couple of plush sketches

Recently, I've fallen in love with making plush critters. First off I've decided to play with illustrator so I know what I want them to turn out like, then I plan on cutting them out and sewing them together using fleece or felt!

What do you think? Any ideas to make the final plush look better?

This guy is for a friend of mine who's doing her nursery in a jungle theme :) If you want to see a larger image, click on the pic and it will take you to my deviantart gallery.

My 6 year old really wants an ugly doll, but I don't want to pay that kind of money for one :p This is my ugly doll inspired idea!

Oh those look like fun Pixi, I would watch your seam allowances, are you hand or machine stiching?

The lion will be machine stitched because I want to do it from fleece and pretty big.

The little monster will probably be handstitched from felt like my Cotton Candy ;) that's what I love about felt, no seam allowances!

Cotton Candy for an idea of what I'm talking about ;)
