Seems like many of us from the way back when got busy with everything and are now coming back
Well I was active 10-15 years ago, and though I never sold off my collection I wasn’t active online or actively collecting. I started collecting g1’s as a child (dad would give me $5 or $10 and mom would let me spend an hour picking a new pony at Yardbirds so dad could watch football haha) and much of the remainder of my g1 collection is from thrift stores and garage sales, though there’s a few trades or purchases from here. I also have g2’s due to their perfect timing (I was just old enough to reminisce about the joy of childhood collecting) and g3’s (Ah the excitement around here when those came out). Now I’m tidying up my collection, starting to set up displays in my “office” room at home, and tidying up all the duplicates that need to be rehomed. Hooray for new old friends!
