not too sure on the how exactly, but it's likely at least partially down to the conditions the pony is stored in (exposure to UV, humidity, etc), though this example makes me scratch my head a bit with her head being completely normal, but her body is super deteriorated. there's something about the makeup of the glitter in the divine shines that makes it break down like this, so a lot of them are in some state of cloudy. it does not happen to glittery G1s.How does this happen? Does it happen with g1 as well?

I decided to check my ponies again. Last time I did they were at the same stage as before. Now there is even lessI haven’t checked on them in a while since last time I did, they were about the same as here. I don’t know how it happened still since they’re kept out the light and have been in the same box since childhood. Still putting it down to natural deterioration
i have a flower garland who hasn't ate her glitter yet but she is extremely sticky.Super interesting! Mine have been in a dark room for the past 20 years so now I'm curious if they changed at all. I have heard that they can get sticky.
