Thinking about cleaning these up and trading/selling/ painting them. Have a few questions. :firefly:I’m new to collecting and I’m definitely not picky as far as condition. I just don’t like their color combo. Obviously they need cleaning. But are they worthless if they are hard? The green hair one is super hard. The white spots on her are acrylic and will wash off. The ducky one is medium hard and super dirty. Missing one plug of hair but I have a matching color I can put in it. I’m just wondering if this is considered bait. If it is I’ll just paint them. :ponylove:But I don’t wanna custom out anything someone else might want. Beady eye is a project I started a long time ago. My question with her is would it be blasphemy if I cut her eyes out and made her regular eye :lolpony: opinions discussion? Love to hear from yall

Its very common for people to de-eyeball beddy bye ponies and paint eyes on or make them twinkle eye. They so creepy

I’m glad! I feel like I need to ask the community’s opinion before I do anything lol, I’m going to try my best to make it not creepy (if it’s possible) first. I removed the blue eyeshadow and I think it helped hmmm. Maybe brown eyeliner on top or more eyelashes… idk I may paint a new eyeball. I’ll post updates when I do!

I've seen people sculpt new eyes and paint them. They look much better that way.

If the ponies are getting hard, that probably means that they're leaking plasticizer. It's a thing that happens to plastics: plasticizer is added to plastics to make them softer/moldable, IIRC, and with the plasticizer leaking out due to age, it's making the plastic hard. This has been covered on the MLPTP somewhere in much more detail (I can't go link hunting right now). But basically, if they're sticky feeling, that means they're actively leaking plasticizer and it's a good idea to keep them separate away from other ponies until the process has stopped.

As for the beddy-bye-eye baby, I popped out one's eyes myself to make her a custom twinkle-eyed baby, so go for it! XD

Thank
Raspberry Jam is not easy to find. I don't think baiting her is the best option.
Thanks! that’s what I was trying to ask, didn’t say right

I know she is hard to find but she is hard so I was wondering if that canceled that out.

She has already finished oozing or w/e not sticky at all.

Raspberry Jam is still on my wish list but I'm kind of holding out for one with her head and body the same colors, which doesn't seem to be easy to find at all.

:surprisepony:.. wait this duck butt is sprinkles? Why isn’t it ducky? Wow I haven’t looked up her name yet but geez I would never have guessed sprinkles just y lol
I think Sprinkles just needs a good spa day! Soak her in hot oxyclean powder and wipe down with a magic eraser. Shampoo and condition her hair, plug up the hoe you'll have a beautiful pony!

She’s Sprinkles because she came with a waterfall playset. ^_^ it was a bathing scene, so she had rubber duckies for a symbol!
