Bizarre incident on the road

I am not sure what MIL's are but all I could find is they make medical oxygen generators they don't sound that bad.

You said it sister! I have to admit though that my MIL is really being helpful to me through this new crisis. She has been very supportive.

That's awesome. Sometimes crisis brings out the best in us.

I told him what MIL meant, but he'd already typed it up and thought it funny, so he went for broke. LOL. Wacky kid!

It sounds an awful lot like a ghost. Truth is, most spirits won't hurt you - and some are just what you might call impressions, no actual concionciouness or awareness. Just an energy imprint embedded on a space, like a video tape being played on loop. Others are actually congiesant and are usually back for unfinished business. I'd say about 3/4 or more will probably leave you alone if you politely ask them to do so, very very few are actively malicious although there *are* some don't get me wrong.

I live in an extremely haunted city, was born in a haunted hospital, live in a haunted house, went to a haunted university and have worked in several occupied theatres. Just kind of a fact of life where I'm from for a lot of people.

All four (perhaps five) of my cats have returned, so have several relatives. None of them are frightening, just kind of...there

There's only one spirit in our house we can't identify, although we think she may have been a nurse because she only shows up when people are ill. I first encountered her around Christmas a few years back, I wasn't feeling well and was lying down on the couch in the living room; I wasn't asleep, just had my eyes closed ,and I heard someone walking across the hardwood floor of the living room; very definitely a light woman's footstep, the kind you picture going with those old fashioned kitten-heeled slippers. I felt the foot of the chesterfield depress as though someone had sat down on it, and I *felt* someone looking at me, very distinctly, like a mum checking on you to make sure you were alright, then I heard her get up and walk away. I opened my eyes, got up went into the kitchen, to find my Mum up to her elbows in cooking the turkey for dinner that night, having not left the kitchen for several hours...

Same thing has since happened to my Dad in similar circumstances...we have no idea who she is..

Funny enough I used to do some paranormal investigations, many moon ago. We went to several pretty active spots, including a farm where a double murder then suicide had occurred. I'll have to tell you about that some day, it was quite an experience.

I don't know there was any intelligence behind this so rather than a haunting I think it was just an echo. It's a weird area though, so ya never know.

Ooh I'd love to hear about it.
