This is so exciting! Does anyone know if it has with Midnight Castle and Escape From Catrina?
 
More importantly, does it have the UNEDITED television specials? I really want these in DVD quality already. (EDIT: *follows Slinky's link, sees that Midnight Castle and Catrina are the two-part edited versions* ...SERIOUSLY?!?)

Hope this set doesn't have the awful premature fade-outs that the previous one did. (It's as if someone thought it would be back luck for the audience to ever see "To Be Continued...".)

Glad the cover art has G1 ponies this time, but that's still a pretty weird, arbitrary selection. Starshine, Peachy, and Rose were never in the show!

@Sweet Tooth , I added the episode list to the first post :) It does include those , and does seem to be actually "Complete" . So many DVD series over the years have been missing those ones you mentioned.

I'm rather cynical about this, because I own the original G1 boxset released through Rhino. I really see no difference, even in the fact that these episodes are broken up the same way, meaning they're probably cut. I'm gonna wait until someone owns it and ask them if certain things are different before I try buyng it myself.

we won't know till we get the boxset :) and it least it's cheaper then the Rhino collection

I'm hoping they'll come out before Sept.30th. Got both preorder.. Can't wait to watch!
 
Looking so forward to both my sets coming. I know Amazon said I should get them by Tuesday @ 8pm. We'll see if I do, this was a birthday present from the hubs.
