Long time no see! My life has been in utter disarray for the last year but things are settling down and I’m spending more time on myself. Anyways, my mom got me a Creamsicle to fix up for Christmas this year. She’s been one of my favorites from the beginning, not sure why I didn’t grab one sooner.. Anyways. The before photos are from the seller since I didn’t think of taking any until halfway through cleaning. And... she looked a lot better in them than she was. Super tinged gray, greasy tangled hair, and... massive clumps of glue in the tail. Right in the length’s center... thankfully only a loc, thick enough to be problematic but solvable. I began with a shampoo to help with the grease and maybe break down the glue a little... nah. I moved on to conditioner to at least separate the clean areas. I tried my tiny comb to break it up, and a tiny bit came out but yikes. I left her in some super hot water to maybe loose it up but to little success. Eventually I got a good amount out but still not enough to be brushed through. Because at this point the affected hair was such a small amount surrounded by clean hair I carefully and reluctantly trimmed it out. The body cleaned nicely though there’s still a spot or two I might go back for. Overall I’m happy and she’ll look cute on display, but I’ve got to ask you all what the better way of handing glue is. Google was little help. Hopefully I don’t end up in this situation again but... you never know.
