Custom flutter wings

I heard someone on here say a while back, that you could make custom flutter wings out of the clear plastic that comes on the outside of pony boxes. Is this really possible? My husband just bought the whole set of Devil's Rejects toys and I bought some G3's for custom. So I have all this plastic! Does anyone know what to do?

I've made all my flutter wings that way. Just cut the plastic out in a flutter pony shape wing with a tab on the end and paint it with sparkly or iridescent nailpolish.

I also heard you can put a blow dryer to it to warp the plastic so they look kinda bubbly like real ones

Thanks! I cant wait to go home and try it! I'll put up some pictures. Nail polish and a hair dryer. . brilliant! I put it in the microwave and needless to say it did nothing.

Here they are. They dont look as authentic as I would like them too, but they do pretty well until I buy some.
