De-flocking is a pain in the butt. Today, I just finished up a pony I started de-flocking like 15 years ago. I also de-flocked a Paradise with complete ease in a matter of minutes. The real problems are with my blue ponies. Fifi and Wind Whistler are not working at all. So frustrating. I'm using the boil in Oxy method and it's not working at all. I even tried using acetone and it's still not working well.

Any suggestions?

This is killing me. What is wrong with Wind Whistler. She just refuses to give up the flock.

That is some glue! I know this won't be good around the symbols, but you might want to try to soak her in acetone and not just try to rub it with acetone. try it first on her legs. And make sure you're using pure acetone and not just nail polish remover. I know soaking will get it off a lot easier.

Take an old rag and soak it in acetone and rap it around her leg and let it set for about 10 minutes. If it works for getting gel polish off and super glue, it just might work for your pony.

What the flock Wind Whistler!? I'd love to give you some advice but my deflock projects have been sitting half flocked in a box for years....like many years. One day I'm going to pull them out and try again but I had a hard time getting that stuff off, makes you wonder why you can't find more perfectly flocked SS!

Remind me on Sunday to have a look around and see if I have any of those brushes I told you about.

I had some very good luck with non-acetone nail polish remover and lots of scraping on my Best Wishes.
