Not really a the moment but I need a few props made and I don't know where to get them at a good price. I would make them myself but after the band saw incident I am not allow near power tools.

Two are pony related and one is a Portal gun prop I would just buy a mini portal gun but they are still costly sigh/
Anyone know anyone who make stuff like this for a fair price let me know, Its not something I need right now but something I need in the next few months.
I need a Pony OC tail and ears and a Horn.
 
I used to make props for a small film company. We would use foam, tape, whatever cheap materials we could find. You'd be surprised at what you can make at home if you just see what materials you have available.

The tail would be pretty easy, and brightly coloured hair is pretty readily available at Dollar Tree and such stores. Go to the kids' section and they'll have little play hairpieces. You can harvest hair from them! I would think you'd just need to tightly bind the hair together with a rubber band, then make an opening in your clothing to stick the end through. Safety pin it in and Viola! Pony tail!

For the ears and horn, I would suggest buying a cheap hairband (the u shaped ones that fit over your head) and adding cute little ears you could craft out of felt or even fake fur. You'd need so little fur it wouldn't be expensive at all. You could even buy a cheap-o stuffed toy and cut it up for fabric. The horn you could sew together out of gold lame' fabric and again, you'd need so little. Just cut out a cone of fabric, sew the two sides together and stuff with a little stuffing (or cotton balls which you probably already have) then sew the ears and horn right onto the headband! You can disguise the headband by brushing your hair out of it.

You're so crafty already, you could do it so easily!

Now the portal gun is a different thing entirely and I admit, will take more. I'd use a lot of PVC, but that's just me. I did find a pretty nifty do it yourself tutorial on youtube, check it out! You could probably do this yourself!
 
Yeah I watch that its a bit too much over my head even for me I really just want to sale enough to buy one of the mini ones or pay some one a reasonable price to make one for me.
 
R2 has made all of his costumes himself. Some of his stuff was molded with heat guns and plastic. Bun is right about using foam too. Anything and everything works for props. R2 has made guns with epoxy and plastic toy gun bases. He adds things to the gun that make it look more realistic for the character he is trying to be. The people that make props charge quite a bit sadly.
 
Have you thought of modifying a toy gun?
 
I don't think you can mod a toy gun to be a portal gun sadly
