G1 Does Pony Cancer Spread? Um..Like Cancer?

I keep looking at ponies on sale sites and many have pony cancer. One I want in particular I seem to not see it without pony cancer. I imagine it spreads little by little over time?

It's just plastic breakdown. It's not so much that it spreads, it's just heading towards its expiration date.

Yes I agree it is just an aging process and it isn't going to spread from pony to pony. I have bought Mint ponies only for them to break out in it or regrind several years later.
