Dollyhair half hanks?

Pardon my ignorance, but I’m looking to restore a Pretty Beat whose previous owner attacked her with scissors (she even has cuts in her body, mainly her butt and legs D: ). I’ve been thinking about learning to reroot since her hair is very dry and too short/thin (hence why I even HAD Pretty Beat in the first place) but Dollyhair is REALLY generous with hanks, and I only need about less than half a hank of the orange stripe.
So my options are:
-Find another bait to practice on with the extra hair (I had a mangled Sweetie Belle but misplaced her)
-Make a custon out of said bait above (and order extra hair; I was thinking a tropical motif unicorn?)
OR
-Order half a hank of the orange, which I have NO IDEA how to do? Unless I’m overlooking something, I see no option to order the amount of hair.
Please help me out! (*´ー｀*)
Another option would be trading her for another Pretty Beat or asking someone else to rehair, but I’m taking that as a last resort.

Unfortunately you can’t order half hanks from Dollyhair.

I would say use what you need and keep the rest for later. Once you start to re-root you open the flood gates and it because a nice relaxing hobby. Lol

Optionally, I’m going to put in a large order for more hair myself. I could order the colour you need and send half? It would just take longer to get to you.

You’re right, it’s probably not that hard to reroot after all! I may go down the custom route someday...

Wouldn't a scrap hair pony look lovely and unique? Or maybe a hot mess.
Even a half hank seems like an awful lot for a stripe. You could always peruse someone liquidating their hair stock in doll collecting communities etc to see if they have what you're looking for but it's hard to find the exact shade and that's quite time consuming.

Thank you guys for the suggestions! I ended up going ahead and ordered some hair (and a few samples! ) and decided to reroot her! The Nectarine wasn’t an exact match (PB’s orange was lighter) but she looks near perfect now! Just waiting on her new hair to dry and I’ll post some pics ^^
