Er, German Pony

I got a Wigwam from Germany...mainly because I didn't have him. Well he came, hooray, and much later I got another Wigwam in a small lot. The US one is BRIGHT vibrant orange, and the german one is a darker, earthier tone...and he has the foot smudge where someone filled in a hoof. I tried to get a side by side picture of them but their colors just ate my camera.

Anyone know German wigwam's worth? Hes in superb condition, minus his chopped forelock...but thats fixable.

Well, I asked a similar question years ago, as I puchased a lot of ponies from Germany and received a Steamer who is a different shade of pink than the normal USA one, and actually has a noticably larger symbol. From what I gathered back then, they weren't really worth any more than the normal version...but then that was years ago before there were so many collectors, especially collectors of varients.

So, guess I'm a little curious about the value too as I still have my German Steamer...lol.

not being an expert on such ponies it's hard to say. but really any pony is only worth what any one person is willing to pay.

I personaly woudln't go much higher than $40 us (and thats including hats.) also depending ont he pony, for instance, i'd prolly pay more for Wigwam than i would for steamer or salty.

but thats just me.
