Found G1 pony clock at car boot!

WOW this is so cute! Jody spotted it for me..... a G1 Bubbles alarm clock! I love it! I hate ticking clocks though.... so I'm notsure if I will use it or not, but we REALLY need something loud to wake us up!!

Anyone know the value of a clock like this? I paid £2.

I also found these, a vintage My Melody Sanrio stamper set, and a Strawberry Shortcake vintage badge. Both are up for grabs!!

I also found - a Diddl tin, MIP Disneys Aladdin stickers, G3 pencil case I've been wanting, a G3 watch out of last years easter eggs, and a teeny tiny barreled curling iron for pony hair!! Yeah!

The ONE time I saw it on ebay, it went through a bidding war and ended at somewhere around 1000 British Pounds? It was a couple idiots, and the seller had to relist it.. I don't remember what the real selling total was, though. I have a feeling it was around 20, but I'm not positive.
 
That clock is definitely on my list of "Way cool pony merchandise" lol.

Very nice finds... and those stampers are adorable!

Car boot?

OK, heres a quick rundown. You pack up your unwanted stuff into the back of your car, and go to an advertised car boot sale in a field/car park whatever, and for a fee, usually about £5, put your stuff out on tables and sell it to whoever comes around. Its a big thing over here, theres TV shows that send contestants around finding treasures, or pit them against each other to make the most amount of cash, that kinda thing. You can sell ANYTHING you want (bar weapons, ****.... yeah) theres not many antiques, more household stuff and toys. its mostly cheap, too - but you usually have to rummage through bags and boxes.

Unfortunately, Ebay seems to have killed Car Boots these days, as all you can really see are baby clothes or old tat like granny ornaments. So much difference from when I foumd 75 ponies in one weekend like 6 years ago. *sigh*

Am I obsessed? you bet I am!
 
Great clock! I think the ticking would drive me batty too.

I used to have that Strawberry pin when I was a kid. Nice finds.
 
I am SO not going to a cat boot with you, Pink chick - we'd end up fighting in the aisles! :lol: Running in different directions to see who can find a pony first! :lol: :lol:


Hey, wanna come in with me and Piper on a buying a field for our own car boot? We are confiscating ponies on the gate!
