Hello every pony! :)
I have decided to make some birthday month, pony, fridge magnets, but instead of the usual birthday flower ponies, I gave them a personalized twist:D
These are ponies of my own creation, with flowers native to my country ( South Africa ) Each birthday flower is chosen for the month it flowers in, as well as to represent the personality common to the star sign of that month. The ponies too are in colours complimenting the
flowers for which they are named:) I have uploaded a photo below of a finished magnet of my own birthday month ( December ) to give you an idea of what to expect.
The magnets are made of thick square glass, and are 1" x 1" in size, and they cost $2 each, to be paid to my PayPal account. The magnets weigh practically nothing, so postage shouldn't be too expensive but I am happy to get a quote if requested.

I have chosen the Watsonia for December because of it's fiery colour, as well as the time it flowers. The pony is a pegasus to portray the dreamer that a December born person tends to be, and the fiery coloured hair to portray our fiery temperament Lol!
We are fiery dreamers;)

This is such a unique idea! I've never thought to do indigenous flowers. What's my local birthflower? (May) :p And did you include Jacarandas?

Your birthday flower pony is King Protea! :D It is a strong plant as May people have strong personalities generally and are steadfast in their beliefs and choices in life. But besides all that, if you found a friend in a May born person you will never be disappointed in what they bring to the friendship. As the protea plant gives awesome big flowers, often so is the heart of the May born person:)
And no I didn't include Jacarandas, I don't think those are originally
from our country? Could be wrong though?

They aren't indigenous, no. But they are pretty. :ponylove:

February is Strelitzia:) A nother strong plant, with interesting, vibrant orange and purple flowers. Just as Feb people are always interesting and refreshingly vibrant people;)

Hahaha! Not stubborn or bull headed, just stradfast in your decisions and stuff:D Taurus people are awesome! I even married one:) I find him to be a grounding influence to my head-in-the-clouds type of personality;)

Jan - Water Lily
Feb - Strelitzia
March - Fairy bell
April - Disa
May - King Protea
June - Lobelia
July - Erica (the sticky heath, as there are quite a few different Ericas)
August - Clivia
Sept - Gladiola
October - Jasmine
Nov - Arum Lily
Dec - Watsonia

I know now that Water Lily has been used before for a Hasbro birthday flower pony and her colours are remarkably similar to mine. I did not know that beforehand and I had all ready made one by the time I found out, and I like her too much to give her up:D

And ofcause the birthday flower ponies are not set in stone, if you like the idea of a pony fridge magnet, but you would prefer if it was your fave pony or even your pony persona, I could do that too;)

I have one of these beautiful magnets, and I just want to tell you they're super nice! Night Fury's art is so lovely. They're a wonderful thing to own, I'm so proud of mine!

I was just thinking they'd make beautiful jewelery as well.
