For ponies so cute, they sure can play dirty.

Seriously, whoa. I don't blame Twilight Sparkle for being freaked out by the pressure of all 5 ponies pestering her about that extra ticket.

I loved the campiness of it all, ESPECIALLY Rarity's fantasy. I feel like the "prince" was a bit of a hyperbole, since he doesn't seem to have a name beyond "Him"...her story just kept getting more ridiculous, and I absolutely lost it with the diamond ring on his unicorn horn.

If this is how they handle the daily life episodes, then I am all for it. So fun! I can't wait to watch next week's!

I so LOVED when she was going off on that. but if Prince Charming (just what i'm calling him cause du) is Celestia's nefew, how are they realted if Luna is Celstia's sister? do they have other siblings? did Celestia adopt a family while Luna was Nightmare? or is it just a nickname whatever, so he's not an "all powerful" royal like she is? idk...i'm probaly over analyzing that...you can feel free to ignore that line of questioning.

I am curious how they are related as well, maybe our two princesses have a brother who isn't quite as powerful or not a winged uni? Maybe an adopted 'nephew'? Or maybe the son of somebody Princess Celestia is close to, and treats him like family? I could see that. Either was, he is a handsome young unicorn!

I thought he was just a (fabulous!) figment of Rarity's imagination? Also liked the classy waiter with his moustache (sp?)...

*Loved loved loved* the Benny Hill scene. Laughed out loud many times...

Just so much fun. I still don't like pink, but Pinkie Pie makes me howl and she's quickly becoming my favorite. Sproing sproing sproing....

There are obvious differences, and I like the FiM version much more, but certainly the same theme!
 
I was about to ask the same thing! I was like "I'll bet this will end like the old one did" and it sorta did... she chose not to go. I have to say I love love love this cartoon! Way better than I thought it would be! I'm starting to really like Pinkie Pie now. I saw the first episode last night at our friends house (they recorded it for me on their DVR as a surprise) Hadn't been on here in a while, thanks the beth for posting these!

Is there a breakdown anywhere of how they changed and came up with the charecters?
 
I loooved this episode! I never cared for Tales, but FiM is awesome because the characters are so over the top. The fantasy sequence with Princess Celestia's nephew (who I'm pretty sure if a figment of Rarity's imagination) just cracked me up. And Angel the bunny giving Fluttershy glarey eyes. " . . . yes, we ARE just doing it for the ticket."
 
I was hoping the 3rd was going to be a Halloween episode before the episodes even started airing but whatever lol. I don't really care for the look of the ponies but I can deal for now. I like Rainbow Dash's previous and current look but I don't like Rarity's current look. Did anyone else see the one that looked like Firefly but with different coloring though had her symbol? Hope they introduce that one with the ponies. Anyway I liked the look of the g3 Ponyville regular size toys with hair just if the heads and bodies were proportionate to each other that would have been great.
