This might be in the wrong place...But...

Do we (the mlptp) or anyone have any offical G1 mlp artwork images available for download or like a site that has collected them in one place, or some other resource? Like the artwork found on the backcards, pamphlets, boxes, coloring books, books etc.

Art like this:

I found these from a tumblr blog. I know the internet is full of them, but I'm wondering if we have a special place for it. I have a button machine, and I want to make myself some mlp buttons, because I love this artwork soo much and I love making buttons lol.

Thanks! I hope my question made sense.

@DorkLarue YAAAAAASSSSSS! thank you! I could get lost in this wiki for hours. Also, I bookmarked it. :ponylove:

If you don't mind me piggybacking on your question... does anyone have a good source for official coloring book pages? Mom used to have a buttload of G1 / G2 / G3 lineart on her computer, but it is long gone. I'd love to find some of those again.

I'm not sure about g2 and g3, but the "library" I linked to on My Little Wiki has really high quality scans of uncolored g1 coloring books! You can click through the book in your browser, save the whole thing as a pdf, or save individual pictures.

No way!

I had no idea! That is awesome; love the G1 books especially. I had Spike and the Magic Horseshoes when I was pretty young... sold it when I went through a 'too old for ponies' phase a few years back. Still regret it. Reading it again is a trip down memory lane.

Thanks for sharing!

ETA: Remembered another clipart resource! Ponyland Tours. I was wondering if it had been deleted like most of the pre-social media 'net. Glad to see it's still around!

@Mimic not at all! I'm also interested in coloring book art. :satisfied:

I also checked out Ivy's Free Pictures. Lol, I don't blame them for telling everyone to not use the pics for profit. They really did put a lot of work into the mlp clipart, esp if an old version of photoshop was used...

I’ve tried to find an official art database before, the kind that holds all artwork. If I had known about the first one you linked @starscout, I would not have had to have make that transparent Princess Misty one for my pony collection catalogue. It’s the exact same one there too! :lolpony: I have got to remember this for if I find more G1 ponies. Thanks everyone for sharing links! It’s also helpful for me too

The Bowtie picture on My Little Wiki is so cute I absolutely love it. This one to be exact:

I had a brain fart yesterday morning and completely forgot about the not-for-profit disclaimer! Good thing you caught that.

Yeah, (especially when you consider the age of the site) there was a lot of work put into them!
