I'm not a G3 collector but.. well, I guess I'm starting to be. I went to KMart today and looked at the ponies. Individuals were $6.99 and were mostly Wysteria and I think.. Love Wishes? Also Scooter.. somethingruther, and .. okay, I'm bad at the names here. There were a lot of individuals, and they were $6.99. Then I peek between and behind Rainbow Wishes Amusement Park (clearance, $18.00) and Frilly Frocks Boutique (think it was $12?).. and spot the Spring Basket for $10. did I get a good price on it? cause I thought.. Butter Drop was $3.99.. and this is three ponies for $10. Of course, it's long past spring, so maybe it should have been cheaper?

Also I found quite a lot of merchandise. small $1 fuzzy color pages, $4.99 coloring poster/fuzzy poster (two pack), a roll of wrapping paper, and gift bags.. Sunny Daze and Sparkleworks. I've never seen this stuff before, so is it available everywhere and I've never noticed? or what?

Re:

Well, I'd happily pay $10 for the Spring Basket, I'm still PO'ed that they didn't bring it out in the UK this year

But I wouldn't neccessarily expect it to be cheaper. It's not as obviously "seasonal" as say the Xmas ponies, so they can get away with not having to shove it on clearance :)

Love wishes is the most recent mail order. She's blue with red hair. $10 sounds like a pretty standard price for the spring basket. They haven't marked them down at my TRU yet either, as of two days ago.

LOL, definitely not Love Wishes then.

Some other stuff.. XD

Cool. I kinda like it, it's cute.

So far unopened, and it may stay that way.

Actually I think the thinner basket was in response to the bulk of the first one. It is much easier to ship the thinner ones and you don't need such huge boxes! I wish they did have a lid for them, though. I use the old buckets for the accessories that are running rampant all over the place!

Most stuff really isn't going on clearance like it once did. I wonder if stores are trying to hold items at a higher price to try to make money in the market of collectibles. Who knows? I'm just bummed the spring purse ponies are still $6.88 at Walmart, when they are obviously an Easter item!
