Here's one of my first post in a long time!

G3 Baby Buttons was commissioned by miss_peacock. She was created from a baby Bellaluna and given a scuplted horn and full body repaint. Her symbols and eyes are hand painted and sealed. She has been re-haired with restoredoll hair.

The horn is an original sculp? If so, how did you do it? I tried to make one for my customs McD G3, but ended up going for a smooth horn.

She's so CUTE! I love her! *sigh* lovely..
 
Yes, the horn is an original sculpt.

I started out by rolling a thin "worm" of clay, then wrapped it in a circular motion from the top to the bottom.

When I was happy with the shape I inserted a wire into the center and boiled the sculpey.

After the sculpey dried I inserted the wire into the head of the pony and folded the end inside to create an anchor. Then added a small amount of sculpey at the base of the horn and smoothed it to make the seamless addition.

Boil again, when it's dried I added glue inside the head to secure the wire.
 
That is DARLING! I really like how the horn turned out. And I had no idea you could boil Sculpey!
