G3 from Aliexpress - is that mold?

I found a store that sells some boxed G3 stock (all out by now; tho they do still have Basic Fun bagged ponies), this cutie

is 15 years old!

...and look what happened to her acessory:

I get that it's rotten elastic, but is it moldy, and, if it is, can I clean it, or to bin acessory and not risk it?

Pony also has weird dot on NDS

that it looks like it might be glue fragments from adhering the bubble to the card. You should be able to wash the accessory with a damp cloth just fine. Unless the accessory was once a marker ... then it's dried ink.

Doesn't look like mold to me, either. Probably just powdered crumbled glue.
As for the pony's flank, maybe colour transfer from something she was leaning on? Happened to me with a Defa Lucy (Barbie-like doll) policewoman once - fresh from the box, but as her hand was on her black plastic gun in the box, her palm is now black.
