G5 G5 Tail Material

hiii everypony!!

I was wondering if anyone knew what the tail material is on the larger 8 inch ponies. It's rougher than the mane material, and id like to know how to make it feel at least a little better. Thank you for your help!

It's very likely that their tails are made from polypropylene instead of nylon. It's harder to style and it easily frizz at the ends. I have a whole set of 8 inch G5s and even though they're in new condition they already have frizz at the ends of their tails Polypropylene hair is also much harder to wet, water just runs off it, though a bath with hair conditioner might help handle it.

my friend got me a sunny starscout doll for my birthday and i also noticed that!! like septima said, it’s probably polypropylene, and on my g4s (which are also polypropylene) i was able to tame it by getting almost boiling water from my teakettle and mixing it with hair conditioner then giving the hair a bath

Oh man what a let down!! I will try to soak their tails and see if that helps. Thank you for your help!
