I am sure it has been a long time since we had a thread reintroducing yourself and sharing a picture of yourself so we can get to know each other again and maybe learn some new things. Also a great way to get to know our newer members. I'll go first since I created this thread.

I am Trisha. I am 32 soon to be 33 next month. I am originally from California, then I moved to Texas in 2011 and just recently this year I moved to Utah. All because of money issues. Lucky me I have family in both places that took me in until I found work and a place. I am still unemployed. I am living with my sister, her husband and their 18 month old son. While everyone works, I take care of my nephew, so no real good time to look for work.

I have been a member since November 2007. I was looking for a site to help me id and price check G3 ponies I wanted to sell to make money since I was unemployed at the time. Once I became a member I fell back in love in collecting ponies. I do sadly regret selling some of my ponies. I collect G1, G3 and G4 ponies. I did have a few G2 ponies, but I have no idea what has become of them years ago. I must have given them away and totally blocked that out of my mind.

When I was like 3 to 5 years old I was really into Strawberry Shortcake. I had more of her toys at the time than I did ponies. I also had Rose Petal dolls, Herself the Elf dolls, Jem dolls, Care Bears and Cousins, Barbie dolls, Rainbow Brite dolls, Lady Lovely Locks dolls, Keypers and all those great 80s girl toys. I still love those childhood toys to this day. I am keeping my eye out for any of those beloved toys I no longer have, but would like to once more.

I am a big fan of The Phantom of the Opera. Love it! I also love Disney's Stitch. He is awesome! Also love animals, ducks, of course, cats, bunnies, hamsters, penguins, owls, so many more.

Hello everypony~ I'm a long-time mlp customizer that's been floating around the interwebz for some time.
8-ish years or so I've been customizing as a means of extra income. It's what I love doing most, and is my favorite form of artistic freedom and expression. Started back in 2005, when I randomly stumbled upon a custom Cactuar pony on google image search. I immediately googled "custom pony", and found Minty's Custom Tutorial. I printed it out, made a list of my favorite video game and anime characters I wanted to transform into ponies.

Went to college and majored in art/business management to figure out what to do with my ponies~ and here I am, still making them.
I live a happy life with a full family of my own~

I've been on this forum since 2012. Facebook and deviantArt are my homes nowadays. But I still like forums like this to unwind now and then.

Ponies have been part of my life, my entire life~ during my early toddler years, my mom practically started collecting ponies for me, by buying them constantly at the stores. I ended up with a massive childhood collection that I loved so much, I never parted with it. When I became "too old for ponies", I boxed them up and put them in the attic. Got them back down as a teenager, and became fascinated with them all over again. So I always pick them up whenever I happen upon them at thrift stores and swap meets.
I watched the 80's cartoon all the time everytime it came on television, just about.

As for other things I'm into, I've always loved Care Bears too. I'm into some animes now and then, my favorite animal is the red fox.
Somewhat of a video game nerd as well~ played them all the time before I started having kids. Now I just kinda admire them and watch others play as I don't devote the time to games anymore.

I enjoy playing Final Fantasy music on the piano as well~

Hi. My name is Laura and I have been a member since 2001. I'll be 35 on Sept 2 . I am from New York but I spent 2001-2011 in Fairbanks, Alaska - originally to attend the University of Alaska @ Fairbanks. I have a BA in History. I had ponies as a kid and then when I was in college I discovered Ebay. I have one dog - a minature American Eskimo named MR BUBBLES. I got him as a puppy (see avatar pic). He is 13 now. The other dog in the pic was Rosie. She was a malamute/wolf (according to the vet who pulled out her canine tooth)but sadly she passed away in 2006. I also have a female chinchilla named Chichiri. And 2 bettas, 2 clown plecos and a comet goldfish along with various aquatic snail species. Besides ponies, I love Pokemon and anime. Yeah, I never grew up.

I have no idea what I was trying to accomplish in this getup, but it was Halloween:

Hi everyone! I'm a new(ish) member here, although I've been a member at the arena for 3 years now! I'm going to be 20 in January!
I am a full time student, studying Environmental Science, English Language and English Literature and am fully qualified for university in Geography. I hope to study Geography and Marine Science at university in September 2015.

I am a lover of cats, anything cat and I'll probably love it! I work voluntarily in retail, so although I am always wishing I had money to spend, I don't, and this is experience that I need for a paid job if one becomes available where I live.
I am based in the United Kingdom, and have been all my life.

I like gaming, I try to keep it to 45 minutes a day, otherwise it can become obsessive. My favourite console is my 3DS XL, I also have a Wii, and desperately miss my purple GameCube. My favourite 3DS title is Pokémon X, and I love to catch shiny Pokémon, although once caught, I'll never trade them on!
My favourite GameCube/Wii titles are Pokémon Colosseum and Pokmeon XD. Love those two games.

I have a complete Gameboy Pokémon game collection, yellow, blue, red, silver, gold, crystal, sapphire, ruby, leaf green, heart gold. I have some Zelda games too but I'll be selling those.

I collect currently: Jellycat Cats, Disney's Stitch plushies, and used to collect the Gameboy games (one of each Pokémon game, but that's now complete)

This is my 200th post since I joined the Trading Post back in February this year, so I decided to celebrate the occasion, and since the forum has gone through a lot of changes lately, I thought a different avatar and a new introduction post sounded like the perfect way to do that!

I'm Maryke, though everyone close to me prefers to just call me Suki, because it's far less difficult to pronounce. I go by ladyofthenight here on the forum and over at the Arena, and in online games I typically use the handle AngelRain. I am female, and I turned 28 at the end of May this year. I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa, and I alternate between living in a two bedroom flat with my mother and staying with my boyfriend's family on and off every few weeks. I am not yet married, but I have been in a happy relationship for the last seven years. I have also been unemployed for over five years now. Previously I was the assistant editor at a local gaming and technology review magazine called PlayTech (formerly Play the Zone), and also did work for Otaku, a manga/anime magazine. I am currently studying for a college diploma in Comprehensive Writing.

I've loved MLP for literally my entire life. The first pony that I was ever given was Swirly Whirly. I had her longer than I can remember, therefore I'm pretty certain that I got her when I wasn't old enough TO remember. By the time I was a teenager, I had a ton of both G1 and G2 ponies, and my favourites were Bridal Beauty and Talk A Lot, and the babies Glory, Flicker and Berrytown; and Clever Clover and Secret Tale from G2. Then when I was 14 years old, I lost everything I had during a move, when my ponies were accidentally taken off to the auction house and sold. Today I have a G4 collection of over 40 ponies, about a dozen of which are doubles. I don't collect any of the variants, only the different characters, but I do like to keep a few of them mint in box. From this generation, my favourites are Daisy Dreams, Blossomforth, Dewdrop Dazzle, Minty, Star Swirl, Nightmare Moon, Luna and Rarity, and the babies Twirly Treats and Star Dreams.

The only things I love more than ponies are my boyfriend, my mom, my cat Furby, and games. I play on the PC, PS3 and 3DS, and I also have an old PSP that I no longer use often. I love RPGs especially, and my favourite series are The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Tales, Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Final Fantasy, and Pokemon. I also love dungeon crawlers like Diablo and Torchlight when I can LAN them with friends. I've played The Sims ever since the first game came out, and I have most of the expansions, and I also love the old Myst puzzle games, especially Riven. I also love playing League of Legends, where I'm on the EUW server. I used to play Guild Wars 2 and a few other different MMOs for 100+ hours a week, but I lost interest in them when my friends stopped playing and I was forced to be a lone wolf.

I'm obsessed with Doctor Who and BBC's Sherlock, and I love CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. I also LOVE Disney movies, of which my favourites are Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph and The Princess and the Frog. I also like cartoons, particularly Adventure Time, and I've seen all of Friendship is Magic, though it's not my favourite thing ever.

Other than ponies, I also sort of collect Bratzillaz, though I don't particularly know why... it was effectively just this whimsical thing I did before I started getting back into ponies. I've considered collecting Barbies, Monster High dolls and Disney Princesses too, but I don't have the money or a place to put them yet. I'm hoping to start collecting Zelfs when I'm done with my G4s. I also collect art, photographs and stationery.

As for other hobbies, I enjoy writing, drawing and baking cookies. I like eating out at restaurants, sushi bars and coffee shops. I take great pleasure in walking around at malls and fleamarkets, I enjoy going to the zoo and to museums, and I like doing activities like miniature golf, ten pin bowling, etc. I also make a point of trying to go to the theatre to see a musical once a year. Thus far I've only seen Beauty and the Beast, Cats and Phantom of the Opera.

My real name is Holly and I am a full time student at UC san diego, USA. My major is Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major, which is great because I can program computers while I make art! I love adventuring: sailing, fencing, archery, scuba diving, travel, snorkeling. I have sailed on 18th and 19th century tallships, including the oldest actively sailing tallship in the world, Star of India.

I only collect G1 ponies as I grew up with them in my childhood. I have never been much of a fan for the other generations, although G3 is not bad. I don't have a lot of room so my collection is not extensive, but I love them. I also collect all sorts of stuff: final fantasy figures, star wars toys, star trek toys, etc.

I live with my boyfriend, my aunt, and our great dane bob near the beach. Life has not been as exciting as the past, lately, since I am almost done with my degree and spend most of my days sitting in front of a computer studying.

Hello all my name is Andréa( IRL) I prefer to be call chibi my nickname or Anna. I have been on the forum for almost a year I believe. I have loved ponies sense I was little. I was a child of the 80's so I enjoy G1 on TV along with other beloved cartoons.
I have collected ponies sense I was 4 My favorite being firefly G1 and Minty G3/G4. I did not have a lot of friends growing up and the few I did we fell apart after grade school. I was bullied a lot and call names and lets just say middle-High school was not very fun. I did meet a few new friends who like things I did and it made it easier with the teasing and all.

I have Asperger's and I am not very good with people I don't have much in common with. I am also Asexual so no partner which is ok it helps take some stress out of my life. I also have other health issue anemia, anxiety attacks, stomach problems, and acid refluxes. My health goes up and down a lot and I tend to have to see the doctor more then I would like. But with the right medication and support of family and friends and my Toy family ( I like to call them that) I get through.

I was a teacher for many years. I sadly lost my job due to my health condition not meeting with the place I works code or something. I think it was hog wash but that not really something to go into. I am getting back on my feet and tiring to move on what else can you do.

Besides ponies I collect Dolls: monster high, ever after high, a few Bratzillas, and equestria girls. I collect FVII,FFX/X-2, Kingdom hearts figures. I love game like Portal and Soul Revere and blood Oman. I love to read sci-fi,manga, supernatural/fantasy books. My favorites being Dragoncharm series and Raptor Red.
I love History, Dinosaurs, Horses, Fossils, Archeology, Anthropology and Egyptology. Transformers, MLP, and the paranormal, BJDs as well.
May favorite movie is Labyrinth, Last unicorn, and Legend. I love beauty and the beast and lion king as well.

I have two cats a 7 year old black cat named Jazz and a 1 year old female named Izzy. I also have a Great Dane Named Diesel. I have two pigmy goat named Amber and Brigit they live at my parents house.
I have one sister and a niece and a wonderful brother n law. My parents are pretty good me and my mom butt heads a lot but that just how it is.
I love to horseback ride I work in several stables and learned English and Western seat. Sadly my horse passed away 7 years ago. He was a rescue horse Named Buddy I had 5 wonderful years with him.

It's great to learn about the people behind the computer screen. It amazes me how Ponies can bring together so many different people from different walks of like =)

Well I'll jump in on this and introduce myself again. My name is Harley Williams, I'm 19, and I've been in love with ponies since I can remember. My first pony was Sweet Pop and the only one I had in my childhood. I've since lost my precious Sweetie but I was re introduced to Ponies when I was around 11. Ever since then I've been hooked!

I guess on the outside I'm a typical know nothing punk. I'm not very social with people I just met. I prefer to just chill until I really get to know someone. The people I am close with are family to me. I've been on my own since I was 16 and I've really found how precious true friends can be. I also have a habit of taking in local down on 'down-on-their-luck' kids. Anyone who needs help can come and stay with my fiance as long as they go to school, get good grades, no screwing around, no drugs. I'm a Unitarian and I try my best to model my life in a good and pious way. I try to be kind to everyone but if anyone hurts my fiance or my 'kids' I let them know they're no longer welcomed in our home. I taught Sunday school for a few years and I'm an LGBT rights activist. When I lived in NY I actually got to talk to the Senator about GENDA which protects gender identity.

When I'm not chasing after my 'kids' and trying to keep the mad house under control I love baking, camping, board games, sleeping, retro video games, comics, anime, and swimming. I also listen to a lot of heavy metal music. Iron Maiden is playing pretty much 24/7 in our house. I went for my CNA licence but I had to drop out because of my Erythromelalgia. It's a disease not many people have and man does it suck. My skin is almost always in intense burning pain. It started in my ears and a few years later it's spread all over my body. I can't go out in the sunshine anymore. I think that's what gets me down the most. I also have Raynaud's and a brain tumor. I'm not going to get into but I sleep about 16 hours a day and I can't really leave the house anymore besides at night. I actually had to leave my 'kids' and my family behind in NY to move to FL to try to stop the disease spreading and so it wouldn't become terminal. I really can't begin to express my sadness for leaving them behind but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. I'm lucky to have my wonderful fiance by my side. He's my dearest friend and my constant companion. I also have a, I guess you could say soulmate, Leia who use to live with us who we both love dearly. She's a body builder and a real sweet heart. She's moving to Washington with her family but she'll be down to visit in a few months. She, my fiance, and I work as a wonderfully unconventional family =)

I think my ponies are so important to me is because of their simplicity and sweetness. They take you back to a simpler and safer day. No matter how bad the world gets or scary the future is ponies are always so bright and cheery. They're wholesome, innocent, and sweet and I really dig that. I also love Hello Kitty, Moondreamers, and Rainbow Brite for the same reason. Anna I can really relate to you. Having your health be out of your control is really tough. I remember the day I was told I couldn't have my own children. I just went into my pony room and snuggled up with my Pinkie Pie plush and a good cry. My own toy family does make me a feel a lot better when times get tough.

I also love celestial things for the same reason. The moon and stars are so far away. They can never be tampered with or made ugly. They're always shining and they're a constant remind of nature's beauty. Celestial ponies are my favorite and I'm thrilled there are so many out there to collect.

Because I'm disabled I work as a scrapper which is great for my toy collecting. I take old things from junk shops and flea markets and make them beautiful again. My work leads to a lot of old toys. I have an Etsy shop and I love selling the toys I find. It makes me feel useful even though it only brings in a few bucks a month. I also get to find a lot of My Little Ponies. I love making arts and crafts which I sell at Anime, Gaming, and Furry cons. Even though I'm limited in life I still get to be around the things I love and I'm so grateful for that. I love nerd culture and I've meet some of the sweetest people because of it. My fiance is a huge Magic the Gathering nerd and adores Deadpool so we can easily find new people who share our interests.

All in all I guess I'm a woman who craves Americana even though I look like an 'American't'. My dream is to be a home maker. I want to adopt kids and make my home a warm and happy place to be. I'm going to continue to collect toys and enjoy time with my loved ones. This sounds cheesy but I try to make the world a brighter place one old toy at a time.

My name is Jessie, and I'm 29. I try not to think about that. XD At meets they usually call me Minty, with newer people saying Mintamena if they only saw me online before. I still live with my parental units and I'm not sure where life is taking me. I have a comfortable job working at a local bakery out here on Staten Island. We are part of NYC but the borough people out of NYC forget the most. You're more likely to name LONG Island instead (which is incorrect). I collect all four gens and related merchandise and have become heavily involved in our local Brony meets.

I've had Ponies since I was a child in the 80s. My very first one was Fizzy and she is quite dear to me and is my favorite G1. My persona/OC is partially based on her. The other half is my favorite G3, Minty, to make up Mint Fizzy. She was an alicorn because it was like 2005 and alicorns weren't canon, but still cool. My ex-boyfriend, who I was with for seven years, was very fond of Minty as well and that's how she ended up in my old screenname, posted below.

He and I broke up Oct 2011, and soon after my current boyfriend, Paul (who used the pony name of Mr. Disco) and I hit it off. We were part of the original staff of BroNYCon back when it actually WAS in NYC (which is why that part is stressed in the first three held a few months apart). We're a Pony couple and have been having fun ever since. While my ex liked Ponies kinda, and only kept my Minties with him, Paul and I count ourselves Bronies and its SO much fun to go to conventions and collect with him!

(and I totally don't mean that one is BETTER than the other, just that its been amazing at the difference. Steve is still very dear to me because of the time invested in our lives.)

We have a lot of meetups here in NYC, and we belong to several elsewhere such as Albany, Boston, and DC. We're even going to Nightmare Nights Pony convention in Dallas in October.

I don't have much room for non-Pony things, but I collect Smooshees, and Sweetie Pups and Kitties. I also like WWE Wrestling and have gotten Paul into it. I occasionally buy something that interests me from Monster High. Jinafire and Avea Trotter are my top two, but I'm looking for a Neightan.

Hi My name is Margaret and I'm 31. I'm married my husband's name is Drew and he's very patient with my big pony Obsession. We are both big kids and collect lots of 80's Vintage Toys. I live In Niagara Falls, Canada which is known for it's pretty amazing waterfall. I am employed in the Tourism section of our city and get to meet lots of interesting people. I have been collecting Pony's since I was 5. My mom bought me my first one which also was Fizzy the Unicorn I now own 2 one MIB and my original. I do collect all generations as well as any official pony object from band aides to bubble bath.

I also love Cats I have 4. Tiger, Punkin, Shreddy and Snowball. I also own a Tarantula her name is Spooky. My other love is Halloween. I collect anything and everything Halloween. I love Horror Movies I have a huge Collection from all around the world. My husband and I had a Halloween Wedding. We actually also met on Halloween 2003. It's has always been a huge part of my life mostly because of the fun involved.

I believe fun is a important part to a healthy life. I try to always do exciting things and travel as much as I can.

my name is jesse! i'm 20 years old and i live in georgia, usa with my family while i go to school at a university in atlanta. i have to commute an hour to school every day which is kind of a pain but i don't mind since i can take a bus so i don't have to drive! last year, i worked at a resale boutique and as a personal assistant in atlanta because i was planning on moving in to town but my plans to move fell through and i decided to quit my jobs since it was stressful commuting an hour to both jobs AND school. i'm currently looking for a job closer to where i live but i'm putting it off since i thoroughly enjoy not working while i'm in school! i can actually focus on studying and doing everything i need to. (ﾟｰﾟ; lol.

i just started collecting mlp within the past year. i've always been a bit of a toy collector, being in to stuff like pokemon figures as a kid. i'm actually a boy so when i was a kid i was embarrassed to admit that i liked girl's toys like my little pony and barbie. as i've gotten older, i've definitely realized it's ok to like this stuff and now i'm working on collecting! i collect some 90's barbies, popples, and all types of sanrio goods. my favorite sanrio character is spottie dottie, though like i also love jewelpet, my melody, wish me mell, and all the others. i'm currently focusing on mainly collecting g3 my little pony. my favorite pony is pineapple paradise. i also collect anime figures, mainly focusing on kirino from oreimo, my favorite character. other than collecting toys, i like to draw and paint, do makeup, hang out with friends, watch tv and movies, and listen to music. i'm a big fan of friends, full house, american dad, and modern family. those are the main shows i watch on tv. my favorite anime are kuragehime, azumanga daioh, free!, oreimo, and dangan ronpa my favorite band is orange caramel.

My name is Karlee. I just turned 14 on the 10th and am starting high school(OnO) on the 2nd. My first ponies, Summer Bloom and Twilight Twinkle(G3s), were given to me by my parents for Christmas. I became completely obsessed after that.

I found the TP in 2011 and registered as threezie45. I purchased ponies from CJFullmer, Breyer600, and PrettyKitty and received a large lot from Skeen. These are ponies that I still cherish to this day(of course, I cherish all my ponies, but those ones especially so. )

Unfortunately, at the time, I was 11, which is too young to be a member at the TP, so I was banned and told to wait until I was 13 and then rejoin or come back. I did as I was told, and when I was 13, I joined up again as Paradise Island.

Today, I have a lot of G3 and G4 ponies and one G1 pony, Woosie, that I received from my grandma when she moved into a senior care home(although how she got the pony I have no idea XD ). I am looking to add to my G1 collection once I save up some money. I love sports, cats, Pokemon, reading, drawing-both digitally and traditionally-, and Harry Potter. I am completely obsessed with deviantART and my username is LinfieldGal if anyone wants to look me up. Fun fact about me: I played football on my middle school's mostly boy team(one of the other two girls was my best friend)! I wish I could go to pony cons, but I am stuck in the Pacific Northwest and there are not many cons up here to go to haha.

And, as a teenager, I am on lots of social networks- my tumblr is niagara-fails-so if you ever want to chat or anything, hit me up! I'm always open to making new friends.

My name is Phil (well not my real name, I don't feel comfortable disclosing my real name unless I know someone really well) I'm 19 and I live in Niagara Falls, Ontario. I've wanted a my little pony doll since I was about 9 or 10, but I was never allowed to have one. So years later now I must have them all
I love animals, especially reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and fish. I have 2 fire bellied toads, 1 Chilean rose tarantula and 9 hermit crabs. Almost all of my animals are rescues, even the spider was a rescue. I rescue unwanted and neglected hermit crabs from people who often buy them for their kids and "they loose interest" in them, that's where I come in.
I like to do digital art, play video games and spend most of my day sleeping because I don't have a job yet and I've finished school. I'm trying to get back into the butterfly zoo I did a co-op at. Very soon I'll be applying for school to go for a veterinarian assistant and I hope to branch out into treating exotic animals like in a zoo.

I already wrote some of this in my re-introduction post...but why not again?

I've used the handle Kallile for over 13 years--chances are fairly good that if you come across that name on a site, it's me. Though it is not my real name, it might as well be. So feel free to call me Kal to save from wondering how you might pronounce it. It is my own feminized version of Superman's real name, Kal-el. So I pronounce it as "Kah-lee-all" for those who are curious.

I'm 27, been married to my wonderful husband whom I refer to as "Obi" on forums for 6 years this November, and we have one beautiful son who turns a year old tomorrow! Which is a lot of why I am on here writing up this novel...I'm trying not to be a nervous wreck about his big day and party on Saturday. We are also the proud 'parents' of four fur babies: 3 cats (Renji, Talia, and Lexington Von Linkenshire...or just Shire)) and one pitbull mix named Alice. In my spare time (which I rarely have now) I love to write and RP and garden.

I have worked at a veterinary clinic for 9 years this upcoming April full time. I act as the lead support staff member and the surgical tech assistant...which in a nutshell means I help put animals under for surgery, prep them, sometimes assist the doctor during surgery, and oversee the patients in recovery. While I have seen a lot and been around a lot of medical situations I must ask--please don't come to me for serious medical conditions for animals. I know only what I have experienced and am in no way a doctor. Little things like flea control, nail trimming tips...fire away. Anything big needs to have a licensed vet's opinion.

I am and have forever been shy and awkward in crowds and just in general...but I promise I'm nice! Just...shy and not really great at drumming up conversations. My husband and I do go to several conventions around our little ole West Virginia hometown. He is an avid Star Wars fan and collector as well as a collector of comics so most of our conventions have been based around those two. We've been to Steel City Comic-Con, Tri-Con, and Jedi-Con WV. We've been looking to go to a pony convention...but Obi wants me to take the lead on it and that thought just makes me turn into a total Fluttershy so we haven't gone yet.

To be honest...MLP: FiM was my real introduction to the fandom and I even resisted watching it for months until some of my RP buddies finally forced me into watching it. Then I couldn't stop watching and slowly started collecting blind bag ponies and the cards. A family friend--one who owns a vintage toy store--got in some G1s. At the time I was newly pregnant and thinking ahead to a summer of feeling like a whale. I told him I would like to learn to clean them, and so he gave them to me. I found this forum that way--using the old tutorials to clean up the four very, very well loved ponies. I spent all summer learning and working and styling until they looked great and returned them. Then he got another bag...then another...and with each bag he sends I find more and more staying behind at the "Spa De Kal" rather than going off to a certain internet auction site. And so that is why I'm back here...I'm diving in and there's no turning back now!
