Okay so here is the story. I saw a pony 9 days ago. I thought she was pretty and since I have not bought a pony in a while I thought I would bid the starting bid. I knew I would be outbid so no problem. Well, I forgot all about this. That is about how much I expected to be outbid. Yesterday I get this message, "You won!" I am thinking what? Won what? R2 was wondering the same thing. I actually won this pony. No one else wanted her. I am not going to say who she is yet because, she is a birthday gift to myself. So, I will share her photo then, plus I don't have her yet. She is flying over from another country. To top it off I had no idea I was buying a non US version of this pony. I also didn't even pay attention to the fact that the pony wasn't even in the USA. How can I be so out to lunch? I think Cat Pee Pony has destroyed some brain cells.:p

The opposite sort of happened to me. I placed a starting bid, but I was outbid. I decided to wait till the last second to bid again. It was about an hour before the auction ended and I got the auction up. I then turned on the tv to pass the time. After almost an hour, I realized, "Wait a second, I forgot about the auction!" I looked at the computer, and there was three seconds left. Needless to say, I lost the auction.

I've done that once or twice! I like to put in the opening bid, "just in case" no one else bids, and then I forget all about it and am surprised when I check eBay a week later!

I have done this too many times to mention LOL...I blame APS

The worst is when the seller has to remind you you won something. Like aren't we supposed to keep up with things well enough that we are thrilled to receive a pony? Shakes head I guess this just shows all the chaos going on in my life. LOL

Haha! Poor little pony, all forgotten about :p

I've never forgotten about a bid on a pony but I sure have forgotten to bid before! Years ago I was desperately trying to get a G1 book I had as a child. There was a cheap eBay auction I was keeping an eye on (and not using ~proper eBay etiquette~ rofl!) and of course I planned to be there as it ended to try and make sure I got it. Somehow I got talked into driving off... somewhere? Did we even go anywhere? Either way it was snowing and we were driving when I remembered. I was pretty upset at myself!

Not forgotten about a bid... but forget to bid!

Years ago (almost 8 to be exact), there was a MIB G1 I really wanted and it was cheap... Have the date and time, everything! At the end, it was my mistake to not take into account the time difference, and ended way cheaper than what I was willing to pay *still cries blood tears*

I forgot to bid the pony and this happens a lot -.- and then afterwards I am smashing my head to the wall when the pony was super cheap -.-

And yes I have also forgot that I have bid a pony. Usually I don't won them either but I had my luck like once or twice maybe.. and I'm like whaaaat did I won? Oh a pony! Yay!

Congratulations
I usually get outbidded if i do it early, so if i want the pony badly and u have to bid i watch and if i still want it i have to wait till almost the last 20 seconds lol but idk has the mlp g1 changed i bid early and i win idk good for me. But no im pretty up to what ponies i want and watching them.
