Help removing tip-ex from plastic

This is actually help for my fiance, he wants to know of a good way to remove tip-ex from his matchbox car, but firgued it would apply to ponies as well.

He's tried nail polish remover, and it hasn't worked.

Any ideas would be great.

White out, it's called here in the US... and I'm not sure what might remove it. Did you try using straight acetone? I think it's a little bit stronger than just nail polish remover...Or maybe straight out paint thinner?
 
oh yes, white out. hmm... I would think it could be scratched off, but yet I would try acetone or some type of goo gone or something
 
how about a magic eraser? it works on ponies. or you could try scraping it off with your nails, making sure you dont scratch the car up.
