I was an avid collector around 2009 but had found that my interest in the hobby dwindled over time. However, I'm slightly getting back into it very casually now! Hope to make some new friends here

Oh it happened to me almost the same, but I left my collection on 2010, I was into other things, like bike sports and so,
But the last year I felt that I wanted to collect again and started to recover some ponies.
Feels good to pick up some mlp again : D

Hullo and welcome! I was the same way. I collected for a long spell then life sorta got in the way. Next thing you know G4 comes along and my son reintroduces me to my old friends made new again! So glad you returned to the herd!
