The fun thing about toys is that you can do a lot with them. So what kind of stuff did you guys do?

My ponies went on many adventures with my other toys, which included a lot of stuffed animals, some Barbies, and a few non-MLP horses. I didn't brush them that much. The seahorse ponies I had were constant bathtime buddies with nothing else to compete with :p

Oh, and since I didn't know most of the pony names, I made things up. Skyflier was Kite for example. I also made up their genders. Masqerade was a boy, and I think Applejack was too XD.

Mine guarded the castle and destroy the enemy Barbie horse and traitorous MLP that join them. I made a catapult and other thing for the battle. Mostly in the tub they were on a island and could not get off unless the sea pony helped, For a price,
Yeah my playing was a bit darker then most I think had fun though.

I set mine up in huge battles, sometimes as mounts for action figures, sometimes battling against said action figures. And I still do it, four hundred years later. :D

I really like to pose them for wacky pics as well, my Ponies are very photogenic, and like the attention.

lol mine Just sit back and slightly judge you for a time. Different people I mean

Mine had adventures and often played together with my dinos, ( they got eaten by the rex and dilophosaurus a lot) horses and other toy animals. I sometimes pretended to be Megan. The ponies went with me in the bath and pool. One got rusty and was thrown away. :( Sweet Pop used to help me decide which ice cream to get when I was given ice cream truck money. I loved brushing their hair and bathing them when they got dirty. Didn't do that for my dolls.

Great topic! @Winged Mirage

I got in trouble for "borrowing" my moms eye make up to put war paint on my ponies.

I had adventures with them, I used to my record player and they would act out a play. Sometimes I would mimic what I would see on tv. I had fun with them. Now my daughter and I play with her ponies together once in awhile. Sadly she sees I don't always do things with my ponies so she does not either. I'm just very scared to get them out when they smoke by the backdoor upstairs. :/ the smokes comes into the living room at night.

I wasn't as creative. We acted out scenes from the show, or were friends with the barbies and had adventures with them, or we went outside and cavorted around the yard. I didn't have friends and my siblings never liked me, so just me and my toys. One day we had to somehow make it to the top of the haystack before the lava got us... I got in trouble for falling off the haystack.

Apparently I was given lots of Barbies and my mom and Mawmaw made them tiny little outfits. But I would strip them naked and keep their clothes nice and clean in a cigar box and just drew clothes on them. But I only used them as cannon fodder for my GI Joes to shoot at. I guess I wasn't a 'doll' person then. Being 900 years old, I played with the Big Jim types GI Joes that were about 6 inches tall instead, so the Barbies must have been giants. And this was before MLP (gasp) when I was little, so I had the big old JOhnny West horses I inherited from my older brothers. Many people were stomped and maimed by my huge horses, lemme tell ya. Or games were bloody affairs. Fortunately for my Ponies I was a teen by the time they showed up, so they didn't suffer as much. They just gave rides to my old Mego Spock doll and fought superheroes. Way less gunfire, more pew pew pew death rays by that point.

Aw, I woulda played with you. We would have had so much fun! In fact, we still can play now. The floor is lava, climb onto the furniture and somehow get to the fridge for a soda before without burning your feetsies!

I used to throw old couch pillows across the floor to use as islands when I was confined to the house. I was left home alone alot. We had a sunken living room that was quite big and we had to jump across on the pillows or rest in the bay window. Summers were too hot to go out during mid day. High desert so with the altitude sunburns were even worse. Oh, and I learned to hate tumbleweeds. Either pull them without gloves and risk the thorns or wear dad's extra gloves and risk a scorpion or spider being inside! I used to stomp on the gloves and shake them out after one spider bite.

Pillows as islands was a smart move. I sometimes just got desperate and dived into the lava to go potty. I think I called time out or force field or something. I cheated.

I grew up in bazzling Texas, but we did have shade tress so we could play outside like heathens. I think we were really too stupid to real;ize how hot it was. My partner grew up in the desert, out in Bakersfield, CA and she says desert hot is a whole 'nother can o' worms compared to our heat. It must have made for an interesting childhood.

And I hate scorpions with a passion. Apparently I;m allergic and got stung a few years back. My hand swelled up like a balloon. :D Ugh! It hurtttttttt!

Bakersfield is a humid heat. I know because I used to visit my grandma there. I remember the hot summers and staying in the kiddie pool outside when it got very hot out there. I used to live in Palmdale and we would drive out there and there definately was a difference in heat. Now im in a very cold place and I get nose bleeds in summer out here when it gets hot. lol

Haha, these are all such fun stories. It's nice to look back and remember why you love MLP stuff in the first place.

I wish I could remember my pony playtimes a bit more clearly. I mostly played with them in my room. Other things like the plushies were more likely to travel outside the room. I think there were a lot of times where I played with just the ponies too. I almost never took stuff outside, except for a school project where were were supposed to take pictures of things outside. So I took a bunch of toys and posed them around my yard XD. Once again, it was mostly plushies though. I'd have to find the pics to be sure. I have a couple of big G1 plush ponies that were there, I think.

Oh, all my ponies could fly, not just the pegasus ones. I'm pretty sure that was a thing I did with all my horse toys :p

Funny story my sister and her friend who was like my other little sister feared my ponies cause I am a mommy bear when I comes to my stuff. You don't mess with my castle. The did and boy it was not pretty. After the grounding I had was over they never did it again.

I was lucky to get ponies at all. My sister was very protective of her toys, especially her ponies, yet she still let me have some.

My first ponies that were mine to start with were the G2 ponies. I bought those myself.

I did not share my pony or toys with my sister she just would mess them up and it got me in protection mode so she had hers I had mine. We did not play together much either. Too many years apart and too different of interest. She was born a old soul and still is one. I am a more young soul so to speak.

We were just so high up near the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The higher altitude alters how you cook and you burn easier. Summers were usually 120's at the peak. Just thinner air. I've felt hotter in Florida. The humidity is oppressive. Like breathing soup. We'd always go outside as the heat started to dissipate. Sunsets were gorgeous. Now it gets to be 80 and I'm like "too hot" or under 50 and "freezing". Lol we used to get four feet of snow to play in. I don't recommend playing with ponies in the deep snow because they can be very hard to find if you drop them. we tried to "swim" through the snow.... didn't work out so well.

My ponies went on adventures, sometimes war. My sister (name begins with L) and I (name begins with M) each controlled our own kingdom/country/whatever, the L nation and M nation respectively. All 3 of my G1 baby ponies had a mom, though since Baby Jack (really newborn Rattles) was a white unicorn and I had 2 white unicorn adults (Glory and Majesty) they were both his moms.

Sometimes Applejack G3, Minty G3, and Ivy G2 were boys, sometimes they were girls. Once, while playing with my friend, all the ponies were girls except Ivy, who was everyone's boyfriend, but the rule was that if he had 3 kids with the same mare, they had to get married and hope they had a son.
I had a white and a yellow G3 baby with beach themed symbols. One of them could only say "KONICHIWA" and it usually echoed, whilst the other was constantly confused by her and/or had to "translate" what she meant to other ponies. (A friend was part Japanese and taught me a handful of words.)

Lol your ponies that some interesting politics.

My sister is about 10 years older than me, so...yeah. I wouldn't trust a six-year-old with my favorite toys either XD.
