Hi,

I feel awful for posting this, but for ages I've considered selling off my entire G3 collection. :(
I don't have a way to display them and for ages they've just been boxed away, and it makes me sad. So I'm thinking of selling them onto someone who'll appreciate them much more than me.

I have roughly 80 different G3's, all in mint condition, 15 of which are still boxed (these are the "first" G3's mostly) and I have Target Exclusives including the 6 Winter ponies.

How much should I get for these, minimum?
I paid roughly £400-£500 in total over the last year or so of collecting but obviously I wouldn't get that back! Do you think people will want such a big lot of G3's? For like customs or something??

Any advice would be so appreciated :wink:

babysnuzzle, I don't have keen bean I'm afraid, I have about four babies though from Super Long Hair sets but they're not rare I don't think.

I'll maybe put them on ebay I dunno, still got plenty time to think I guess....I feel bad selling them because they make me happy with all their colours and symbols!!
But I can't help thinking someone else'd get more from them than me.
 
List them all here first, on the sale forum. There are plemty of people wanting some of the ponies you mentioned, then you caould send the 'leftovers' to ebay as a lot. Just an idea. :D

I'm guessing your in the UK right (you worked in £'s) a single pony in the UK can cost less than a pound, to the US it is around £2, but the buyer pays postage usually, so you don't need to worry about the cost to you on that score. try www.royalmail.com for postage prices.
 
I would love to buy the first Winter set from you.

You could sell them individually which would give you a lot more.

(And if you want to - just PM me about the first Winter series ;))
 
Yeah I'm in the uk.
I can't imagine what the postage would be on the whole lot! Probably would be best to sell them in seperate lots on here...

Thanks for the interest Desert_Rose, I'll wait a few weeks and see how I feel about selling them, I've been thinking about it about 4months now!! :oops:
 
Hehe, hang around here lnog enought and you won't want to part with them, I gaurantee it!! I only joined up to sell my childhood ponies, I'm still here with over 300 ponies in my room!!

Wow that's amazing! Oh well, i'll see how things go, I have to admit after I saw the new ones today (especially the purple pegasus one!) I thought "I have to sell them NOW or i'll just become addicted again"

Especially with G3's you may have more luck selling them off in small lots. say 7-10 ponies, well photographed and described, you should easily be able to make back your money.

I would suggest to wait till mid- late november for the market pick up though, you'll get better prices.
