Hi all, I’m a little unclear on this. I see their facebook page and forum page, but how does it work? They are very professional looking. How do you buy them? How do they decide what to make?

@Clipper can answer best, but I'll tell you what I know.

HQG1C means High Quality G1 Customs. They're factory-produced customs, designed by the HQG1C team. @Clipper and @Wysteria sell them in their online shops, and there are a couple of international affiliates.

ETA: They're all really cute. I own quite a few.

I was about to post basically what Skig said :)
Yep, they’re high quality customs, as the name implies. I agree that @Clipper may be the best person to ask, and all I can say is taht I love them! I especially love the Rainbow Puff/Rainbow Twist ponies! <3

They have some wonderful stuff. I have quite a few of their work i just love their ponies.

You can buy them from multiple stores. https://clipper.ecrater.com/ and https://katzponyshop.ecrater.com/ ship out of the US. There are a few distributors in other countries as well. They made molds out of G1 ponies and make blanks and original ponies! They also have a discord server for those without Facebook.

Just seeing this now, but it seems like question was answered by @skig (btw fabulous photos of the ponies!)

For more information, the facebook group has a pinned post in the announcements about the project. I also have made a video talking about it, that I will bump up in the feeds for members to see.

The project was created by myself and @wingsofmasquerade (Em -not sure if shes on the MLPTP currently?). There are also ollectors who do help with design, and other works such as @wysteria. I can't remember the other collectors user names on here or the arena, but there's 9 of us in total at the moment helping getting these ponies to collectors. :)

As for designs, majority of the ones created I have envisioned myself and pass the idea along.. But they are all group effort and decided as a whole what will go and what doesn't.

I just snagged three HQG1C blanks from a shop online and am really excited to get creating! :)
