So I went out and got a Smashin' Fashion Twilight Sparkle today because I was kind of curious about the two-legged poseable thing. I'm unboxing her and all is going well, but like I've been doing with most G4.5 stuff, I don't open it according to the instructions. They usually involve soaking something in water or in this case, just smashing it with your fist. I don't want to make a mess or damage anything, so I'm just cutting everything open with scissors like a boring adult.
So I get to the little circular package inside the surprise pack. I thought it was odd that there was a bag within a bag, but I figured it was holding smaller stuff to keep it from getting tangled or something when it exploded. So I cut open the thing they described as a "balloon," thinking there were accessories inside. So you can imagine my UTTER CONFUSION when instead I find a whole bunch of white powder and a little plastic thing full of clear liquid. I THINK I finally figured out that you're not supposed to open it, you're supposed to smash it (duh), breaking open the liquid inside which reacts with the powder and causes the balloon to inflate. But I did not do that because I am Big Dumb and can't follow directions, apparently. XD
So now I have a Scotch-taped disc thing with cute art on it. (Which I guess is a good thing, I'm not sure how well having a balloon full of who-knows-what would've gone sitting with my herd for all eternity.)
