Hi! So I used to be pretty active on this site a couple years ago, however, I had so many things going on at the time and was just too busy that I took a break from the boards. So, I thought it would be good to kind of reintroduce myself and to not only continue talking with the older members on the trading post, but also talk to any newer members who maybe joined while I was gone!
Ok lets see... On the boards I go by Sweet Tooth, who is one of my absolute favorite ponies (She's just adorable!), though my real name is Dominique and I am a teenage member from Texas! I have a pet dog-a Beagle we recently rescued named Mona, and a pet ferret named Bullet-I have had her for years and I love her to death!
I have many interests...
-I am obsessed with fashion! I love to mix and match different pieces of clothing and crazy prints and I like vintage clothing.
-I also sew so I like to make clothes-whenever I get an idea of an article of clothing in my head that I think would complete an outfit, and if I can't find it or it's too expensive, it means I have to make it! I also like to sew stuffed animals (Like ponies
) and bags, and I love to quilt and embroider too.
-I am a theater kid! (I know, I'm such a nerd!) I do a lot of community theater and I love to listen to showtunes. I also am a big classic movie fan, especially musicals-so watching those was initially what sparked my love for theater.
-I like to sing and dance- specifically tap dancing...this all kinda goes along with the bullet above.
-I also love to draw and for the longest time I took art classes in school and did contests and I had a lot of fun with it. However recently I haven't been able to get to that as much as I'd like.
Aaaand what you've been waiting for... let's talk about ponies!
I got my first pony when I was three, a G3 Pinkie Pie and from then on I was hooked! I didn't start "officially collecting" until I was around eleven when (weird story) my drama class did a my little pony skit and we all had to go home and watch the show to "understand our characters." (don't ask why we did a skit from mlp) Me and my friend both got into the show and she and I then "rediscovered" our old G3 ponies that we had from when we were younger and began collecting together. She and I have been trading and collecting ponies ever since! My favorite types of ponies are of course G3s because they were my originals, and I also love G1s because of their variety and that they resemble the G3s in size and appearance.
So thank you so much if you were patient enough to read through my entire wall of text! I am so happy to be back on the boards! One of the things I am most excited about is the fact that now that I am sixteen, I am finally old enough to sell and trade on here-I can use the My Little Pony Trading Post as an actual trading post like it's supposed to be, which is perfect because I've been wanting to downsize my collection and sell some of my pony-themed sewing projects for a while now! Of course, I am excited to talk with all of you guys again as well!
