Added Gypsy and Honeycomb to my collection today, as well as a pre-production Sweet Dreams Crib originally from former Hasbro designer Susanne Riette-Keith's collection! Super excited for all three! (Also received Dia de Muertos Barbie, who is beautiful but doesn't belong in a pony forum).

Where the heck did you find that gem of a find? I feel like I miss out on a lot of stuff like this.. super nifty item to have in your collection. Congratulations on a unique find!! (I would love to see your Barbie too..)
 
Congratulations! Two gorgeous ponies and such a wonderful piece of pony history. Awesome.

I loved her when she was first revealed, then she sold out and started selling for more than double her retail price. So I was super-excited to find her on the Walmart site for retail. I missed out on the unicorn and mermaid dolls, and I'm kicking myself for not just ordering them then. I have been out of Barbie space until I sell all of the porcelain dolls in the curio cabinet at my parents' house, which I have to find space for in my own house. Probably going to have to tell people they're haunted to move them. :lolpony:

I found the crib in a Facebook pony sales group. Susanne Riette-Keith was a guest at 2015 Pony Fair and displayed and sold some of her collection pieces there. I'm surprised at how quickly it made it here from the UK. I've been waiting on a different package for more than a month.

That is the question. I normally open for display and keep the boxes, but some of the boxes have been so beautiful in the last 15 or so years. I have to think about it.

That’s true, maybe you can display the doll and pretty box if you end up opening her :D
