G1 Italian MLP comic: A Happy Birthday

If you follow my Tumblr you may have already seen this, but I thought I would share an Italian MLP comic that I translated (or rather, that Google Translate translated, ha ha!) The G1 Italian comic is a different continuity than the G1 UK comic; the Italian ponies don't live in Ponyland, but in Felicitta. Oh, and Spike's name is Dragoberto. Okay, let's begin!

I love when you can tell a line was a clever joke in the original language and doesn't quite localize well. Dragoberto's dialog has that charm to it. Also? Best name ever. (Sorry if this disrupts the flow of pages!)

I love hearing what other people think about the comics--kind of makes it an interactive group experience--so every comment is welcome! And yeah, when I was translating it I was like "This probably makes more sense in Italian", lol!

Yes, I did think it was funny that they described her house as "it has flowers painted on it" instead of "it has B-A-B-Y written on the front", lol!

Thanks for coming on this journey with me . . . My favorite part is how the fake Blue Belle ended up being a random plot element that didn't go anywhere, like we don't even learn who she is or anything. Just, sometimes in life someone disguises themselves as you so they can go to a party and get all the cake.
