It hardly ever snows in Houston. But tonight the biggest snowflakes started falling from the sky. It's really hard to capture in photos, but I tried. It isn't going to stick or accumulate. I'm a little sad that the children can't be up to enjoy it. Normally is just too warm here for snow. But we are having and unusual night.

For us this is just a big deal. For those of you up north it will look like nothing is going on. For us down south this is amazing.

We got SNOW too Tula! We NEVER get snow before Christmas, if we get it it's always in Jan/Feb. I am thrilled! Ours actually stuck though, we got about 3-4 inches. Enough to make everything pretty but still very manageable for doing stuff :) I was busy Friday and yesterday so didn't get any pics, I'm going to see if it's still worth trying to take any today.

I never realized how hard it is to take a snow photo in the daytime and night time. My camera didn't know what to do with it. So, most of my photos were blurry. I think because the autofocus was picking the snow rather than the objects in the snow to focus on. I love taking photos, but I am not interesting in trying to figure out my way around that problem. Meh too much work when you are standing in the cold lol.

Yea! Another Houstonian! I was so excited when it started snowing. And in the morning it was so magical seeing the snow stuck to the trees. Made my dog walk that much better.:winkpony:

We got snow again here in Houston. It was so beautiful. Took my dog outside this time while it was snowing. He wasn't a big fan. Lol:lolpony:

Yes we did too. My dog didn't like it either until I made him socks. Once I stuck those on his feet and put him in two coats he was fine. It was a powdery snow this time and it would not pack until today when most of it started melting away. I made a tiny snowman. He is about 12 inches tall. Squeeeeeee Yuki could not figure out what I was doing lol. He keep sniffing it like, "what the heck is that thing momma?"
