Just curious about a "Made In" mark

While I was playing with some of my G1's I noticed that the two fancy Pants babies that I have say Made In Thailand on their feet. So I'm just curious if that's the norm or unusual.
 
I always thought the made in tailand versions were sold in the states and the china ones were sold in Europe? I've never found a FP baby that's not made in China over here...
 
Aien's right, the set of 6 sold in Thailand were sold in the States and 4 (excluding Baby Bows and Baby Sunnybunch I believe) were sold in Europe made in CHina.
