Hi there everyone!

A while back I posted a question to see if anyone had found one of these toy boxes....

I am very pleased to say that my Hubby bought me this one yesterday.....

It is gorgeous and of such great quality....

Once Hubby put it all together, I spent the arvo filling it (very neatly) with my original childhood backcards, and my recently perchased puzzels, books, Xmas ornaments etc (MLP merchandise).

It certainly took a great deal off my floor, I now have more room to fill up with other MLPs :wink:

Does anyone know who the pony is on the front? The pic isn't too clear and the green ribbon covers some of it.... but her symbol has a cloud with a sun and rainbow over it.
 
That's neat! The pony is Rainbow Flash. :D
 
I always thought when people said 'Rainbow Flash' that they made a mistake and ment to say 'Rainbow Dash'.

I haven't seen a Rainbow Flash pony yet.

*edit* I just realised that Rainbow Flash came with a free baby, both of whom I've got. Due to the way RF's hair is arranged, I couldn't see her symbol (she's MIB) lol.

I'm glad I know who she is now :D
 
Oh I love it! Where did you buy it? I haven't seen them anywhere yet. How big is it? Could you please measure? Thank you :D

I also want to where and how much. That would be perfect to store my loose pretties in.
 
Oh, how much was it? I could definitely stand to free up some shelf space.

How much is it:- $70...on sale for $50 when hubby got it for me (not sure when the sale ends though - maybe yesterday, maybe sometime this week?) :D

Where is it:- ToysRUs Australia only apparantly

How big is it:- 60cmx40cmx30cm, sorry don't know inches

And just to let you all know, it weighs a ton! Well not really that much...but it is very heavy. It is made out of real wood that has been completely painted, so it is very sturdy. It would definately cost more to ship one than to buy one...sad isn't it? :(

I wish it didn't cost so much. I personally think its worth it. But I mean if someone overseas like me wants one. That is alot not even including shipping. Darn. I think its so adorable though. Maybe I can make my own? And put my fav mlp gingerbread on it?I'm silly I know :oops:
 
man, I hope they come here eventually. I really would like to have one but I don't want to pay to have it shipped here.

I think that is a wonderful idea mlpsayuri! Wouldn't it be wonderful if a few people did just that and painted their favourite pony scenes on one? My problem would be picking the ponies and scenes...I have no favourites, I love them all :D

Funny request, but could you take a piccie of the toybox with a pony (Preferrably G1 or 3) beside/on it and post?

Thats a fantastic idea for keeping puzzles and stuff in.
 
That is so cute, think of all the pony accessories you could store in there!
