Toilet Sparkle the Unipoopipeg

So I’ve had a doll set of a toilet, toilet paper and newspaper taking up space in my doodad drawer for probably over a decade, and I recently picked up these poop and pony button beads, aaaannnd the deal was sealed. IT WAS TIME FOR A TOILET TIME PONY. So I introduce, Princess Toilet Sparkle!!!!!
…yeah. She speaks for herself.

What also pushed the spark of inspiration for this humorous project, was I stumbled upon this glorious fakie pony base at Goodwill.
When starting work on it, I left the original body color. Painted the hooves and horn, and painted oval pearl rhinestones for the eyes. Cutie mark was original a fancy S with the wing horn and spark, so I turned the S into a poop. Added tiny pearl rhinestone eyes. All paint is sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in nylon dollyhair in the colors:
Sugarberry, candytuft, peaches & cream, marmalade, tigerlily/pomme d’amour, dragonfly, mulberrycrush/stormy sky, after midnight and Restoredoll katsilk teal hair.

There is a “under-tail” that the poop beads are attached to. It is a light brownish beige lock of mohair that I brushed out, then brushed glitter glue in then glued the poops on. It’s pretty much uh… spewing right out.
Yellow ribbon tied on the actual tail, purple pony bead holding tiny toilet paper roll.
Added the rest of the pony beads onto the mane with one of the poop beads, ADDED THE TOILET SEAT AROUND THE HORN AS THE CROWN and embellished in lovely yellow/brown drop and oval rhinestones splashing around and in the toilet crown.

Glued newspaper in her mouth for her reading pleasures.

Death Note customs
Set of 5 characters from the anime Death Note of Miss Misa and her Shimmigami Rem, Light Yagami and his shimmigami Ryuk, and the head investigator, L.

Miss Misa - Pony base is a smaller generation 4 princess. Coated in white gesso to provide a texture for acrylics to bond to, full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics. Eyes painted in my anime/fusion style. They have red confetti star gleams. (Also painted her eye color as the shimmigami eyes).

Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors butterscotch, golden sun, butterfly and passion fruit. Red ribbons with skull beads accessorize her pig tails.
Her dress is cut and stitched from black faux vinyl, a white trim underlayer, spiderweb textured lace for her front leg gloves, hand stitched red/black striped stockings, and black faux vinyl boots. Belt is red faux vinyl eyelet trim with a hand crafted death note book (leather with painted detail) and a heart box trinket.

Shimmigami Rem- Pony base was a generation 4 pink princess Celestia. Figure coated in white gesso to provide texture for the paint work to bond to. Full body repaint in pale gray, black and medium gray acrylics. Some hemp cord detail on the neck and torso. Her bone armor is all real thick leather that I painted to detail.
Her mane and tail are cut from a large fabric faux flower. I reshaped and styled the petals to give accurate expression for Rem. Gave her white leather fangs, stitched her blind fold from beige sequined scarf material, and gave her large cheap hoop earrings.

L was the third custom crafted in this set, he was crafted from one of the small princesses that came with a Equestria Girls doll. Coated figure in white gesso, full body repaint in vanilla white acrylics, eyes hand panted, all paint work sealed. Mane and tail are faux black fur. Shirt and pants are hand stitched, made a belt accessory of trinkets of drinks and candies. The desserts are erasers I purchased from a Japanese dollar store probably a decade ago and have had in my doodad drawer.

Light Yagami (Kira)- pony base is a smaller medium sized standing princess base coated in white gesso, full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics. Shoes and eyes hand painted, paint work sealed in artists varnish. Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors amaretto, chocolate pudding and custom blend of goldenwheat/English toffee. Mane permanently styled.
Outfit entirely hand-stitched from cotton and sheer materials, red tie is bias tape. Deathnote is leather and painted.

Ryuk- pony base is a Celestia unipeg coated in white gesso, body painted black, head and neck painted pale gray. Face painted, eyes are rhinestones. Larger rhinestones are painted. Painted work sealed in Artists Varnish. Mane is rooted in nylon mlp hair in black magick/hematite mlp dollyhair, and brown/black blended katsilk Restoredoll hair. Permanently styled in hair gel method.
Skirt is stitched from faux black vinyl, belt is thick brown leather with acrylic painted detailing. A couple strings of metal silver beads on floral wire adorn the belt, with skull, spike and apple beads and a leather book. Hemp cord pieces detail the stitches on his neck. Bracelets are silver vinyl painted, and thick wire/metal beads/chains. Earring is a heavy metal heart on a chain. Black feathers on his shoulders.

Slumber Kimono NightLight

Since I’ve had a couple commissioned requests to craft NightLight in the past in 80’s rock and steampunk themes, I figured it’s high time I make one to put up for sale. I just love her colors and can always go back to working on her lol.

This time, I felt like doing a slumber kimono theme. (I know I’m a half British, half Native American artist, but I appreciate other cultures. xD) Pony base is a engineered from 2 different generation 3 ponies. Base coated in white gesso to give the acrylics a texture to bond to, full body repaint in electric blue acrylics. Eyes painted in my own style, cutiemarks painted also- all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors mermaid, lucky clover, electric banana, saran Barbie hair in the color frivolous, RetrodollsUS monofiber mojito, then 2 of the colors are cut off of other store bought pony toys, and they are the peach color and the blue that I think may be atomic turquoise dollyhair.

I took a teddybear accessory from a generation 3 set, and repainted it to match Nightlight’s theme.
Kimono is hand stitched in various fabrics and textiles involving some sheer scarf materials, tassel fringe, and rope textiles.
She has about 6 sections of beads strung on floral wire and attached to larger trinkets, then attached to the mane. Embellished front of mane with rhinestones.

Made a few quick hand stitched doll pillows to go with her since she is the slumber party sort.

Legend of Zelda Great Fairy & Bottled Hero

Decided to make a nice 9 inch tall figure of a Great Fairy as seen in the Hyrule Warriors 3DS game of Legend of Zelda. Of course she is not a colossal fairy without her own tiny hero in a bottle. So instead of Link bottling up fairies, HE GOT BOTTLED UP BY ULTRA MEGA FAIRY!!!!!

Her pony base is a zilla talking Celestia. She started talking at me when I started work on her, so I had to remove the batteries. I left the wings on this time, cause with the past 2 talking zilla customs I’ve made, I’ve decided really quick that removing these wings is not for me. Neither is removing the neck/head, so I did all of the customizing through the hole from the horn (it ended up filled in with hair).

Cut the original ears off so she could have epic Hylian ears. They are cut from thick leather, painted in acrylics then sealed in Mod Podge.
Body and head are coated in white gesso to give the acrylics a texture to bond to. Full body repaint in sunkissed peach acrylics, eyes reshaped and painted in shades of reds, pinks and purples mostly. She has red lipstick and a beauty mole. All paint sealed in Artists Varnish.
She has nails that are magenta rhinestones.

All the hair is nylon mlp dollyhair in the custom color blend of razzle dazzle/watermelon martini, then a highlight color or raspberry sorbet.
I stitched strings of vines in her hair of faux ivy with flower sequins/beads. They’re all stitched onto a stretchy material that’s tied into her hair.

Her pants and top are cut from a cotton camouflauge with a olive green sheer scarf material stitched over top, and a neon yellow scarf layer stitched over the bottom halves of the pant legs. I then stitched lots of faux ivy/leaves with sequins and beads along the belt area, feet, lower legs, neckline, headband area, and down the sides of the top. It knocked out a afternoon to do all of it.

BOTTLED LINK- Link is crafted from a blind bag sized Rainbow Dash base. All repainted, sealed in Artists Varnish, outfit was carefully cut and stitched from green bias tape, scarf is ribbon and tiny brown armor is thick boot leather detailed in acrylics.

He is removable from the glass bottle. Bottle is attached to the fairy via purple chain. I do not recommend trying to remove the chain from the figure as I pinned it in place.

Pony base for the royal Derpy was a generation 4 princess sterling or something (a pink one that’s not Celestia lol)
Dinky’s pony base is a Sweetie Bell. Both coated in white gesso, full body repaints and eyes/cutiemark hand painted in acrylics. Derpy has a custom blend for a body color, Dinky has a custom blend of periwinkle with lavender for the body color. All paint work sealed in Artist Varnish.
Both their manes and tails are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair Lemonade.
I painted crown and crest from some China princess fakies. Added rhinestones to them to embellish, added 3 beads at the top of Derpy’s mane and hand stitched a messenger/envelope bag under one wing. Gave her a rainbow ribbon on her tail.

Twilight Princess Hero’s Shade

This is also my first 5 below custom from the blank sitting white unicorn fakie! I used it for the stalfos Link. The golden wolf is crafted from a generation 3 fakie, and kid Link is crafted from a sleeping blind-bag-sized Applejack.

This hand made custom set was inspired by a game theory from the Nintendo video game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. In the game a armor-clad stalfos trains the new hero in Twilight Princess in sword skills. He first appears as a golden wolf so I crafted both the armored stalfos version and the wolf. The story behind the theory, is the stalfos is actually the old hero from the Nintendo 64 game LoZ: Ocarina of Time but was unable to completely pass on to the afterlife until he passed down his sword skills to a descendant of his family. Kind of a sad story when you think of it, which was why I was moved to craft this inspired set. I also made a blind bag-sized sleeping Kid Link custom burrowed into the fur of the Keaton fox from Majora’s Mask, with the blue ocarina of time on his belt.

All pony figures coated in white gesso to give acrylic paint work a texture to bond to.
Sleeping Kid Link is painted in acrylics, has leather painted ears, hand stitched hat and tunic, his ocarina is painted rhinestones and leather. Keaton fox is hand stitched real leather with painted details, and hand stitched faux fur tails. Link is secured in place with glue.
Golden wolf Link is also painted in acrylics, stitched faux fur tail, mane and chest.
Paint sealed in Artists Varnish on both.

Stalfos Link has just his head and feet painted. Decided to keep some of his Hylian features for this design, so he has his red eye more or less realistic, painted leather Hylian ears and I gave him some hair. (Stalfos in the game is completely skeleton).
Armor is cut and stitched completely from real thick leather, gave it painted acrylic detail. Some flat aluminum wire detail was added, ribbon and rhinestones.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors guacamole, blonde 4, custom blend of golden delicious/sunlight, and Restoredoll katsilk medium gray hair. Bangs permanently hardened/styled in hair gel method.

I cut the original ears and horn off of the figure so I could shove wooden dowels through his head and through the top, for his helmet armor.
Finished his attire by gluing faux plants/leafs/foliage throughout the armor like the aged stalfos in the game. I didn’t add much, because I really like his armor design under the foliage.
I glued a circle of navy blue boot leather under the bottom of the figure and give it a unique signature.

Shield is cut from real thick leather, painted, strips of leather detail and a cogwheel/rhinestone. Some faux foliage glued in place.
Sword is one side faux silver vinyl, glued to a side of aluminum flashing. Handle is painted dowels, painted black detail on the blade.

Pony base is a generation 4.5 Rainbow Dash, base coated in white gesso to give acrylic paint work a texture to bond to.
Full body repaint job in hand blended acrylic blend. Eyes and cutiemark paint in acrylics, sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the color Lucky Clover
Restoredoll katsilk teal hair and TheDollPlanet hair in the color Blue Crush.
Tail has gold vinyl stitched around it with flat aluminum gold wire wrapped around.
Mane has a white lace doily fixed in place and a brim of the gold vinyl across the front, a crescent shape cut from a large gold circle sequin and a gold rhinestone in the middle.
Dress is cut from sheer fabric, gold vinyl details the middle.
Necklace is painted stone beads strung on floral wire.

So yeah while watching Friendship Is Magic, I took a liking to these two ponies and even felt they were so similar that they could be related in some way. Lol. So I decided to craft them together and post them together! But they do not need to be sold together, but that is up to you.

Maude Pie’s pony base is a generation 4.5 Apple Jack earth pony.
Inky Rose’s pony base is generation 4 smaller princess but severed the horn off.
Both have base coats of white gesso to provide a texture for the acrylic paints to bond to.
Both have custom hand blended body colors from mixing multiple acrylic pigments together to attempt to get their body color match as close as possible.
I also like custom blends because it makes the paint smooth and thick which applies the coats faster.
Eyes and Inky’s cutiemark are also hand painted, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Maude Pie’s mane and tail are Great Grape Barbie Hair from dollyhair. Mane is permanently styled.
Inky Rose’s mane and tail are nylon mlp hair from Dollyhair in the colors stormy sky and wisteria. Her mane is also permanently styled.

I made Maude Pie’s pet rock, “Rock”. He is a painted stone bead in gray acrylics and is attached to her raised hoof.
She has a simple hand sewn outfit from a neutral stretchy blue fabric, black ribbon trim belt. And that’s pretty much all there is to her.

Inky Rose required a few layers of intricate textile work for her top. She has faux black vinyl, stiff wide black ribbon trim, some black cobweb material detailing the lace, and some medium gray cotton fabric stitched on the front. Finished with a few black rhinestone buttons down the front, I cut black bats for her hair from faux black vinyl.

Decided to craft Star Tracker, Twilight Sparkle’s fanboy from season 7 of mlp.
Pony base is a generation 4.5 Big Mac.
Figure coated in a base layer of white gesso, full body repaint in custom blended acrylics, eyes and cutiemark are also hand painted. This is NOT sealed! He looks fine without sealant but the top part of my varnish lid broke off in transit, and it dried out the bottle of my sealant so when I applied it, it was already solid like glue. So I rinsed it off and am leaving him unsealed. He’ll be fine as long as no one drops him or rubs him on other things.
Friendly reminder, that all hand crafted art is fragile and shouldn’t be treated like machine-mass-produced items. Should always be kept in mind.

Mane and tail are rooted in recycled pony hair I cut from other Hasbro pony figures. It is permanently shaped, styled and hardened.
His Twilight cutiemark necklace is quite special. I had fun making it.
I cut her star from silver faux vinyl (double-layered), then painted it in thick magenta acrylics. I then glued magenta fantasy film on both sides, attached it through a silver plastic bead with floral wire, stitched it to a thin length of purple bias tape. Saki the Rito from Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild

Was watching the videogame being played, and felt inspired by Saki’s design to make a hand crafted custom pony figure of her.
Pony base is a generation 4.5 Princess Skystar griffin base. Coated the base in white gesso to give the acrylic paint work a texture to bond to. Full body repaint in pale lavender, spent a day’s worth of work time painted the rest of her feather gradients and body markings. Eyes were painted last. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Her tail feather is a severed wing from one of the $1 generation 3 pegasus fakies.
She has a tuft of lavender faux fur at the base of her tail feather.

Mane is rooted in nylon mlp dollyhair in the color tea rose, and some repurposed shimmery pale pink/white hair I cut off of a generation 3 styling-sized Star Catcher.
Mane permanently styled/hardened in a hair gel method.
Hind legs detailed in a couple ribbon trim pieces, thing brown leather strips and silver rhinestones.
Skirt is a white cotton material that I cut square pattern at the bottom, detailed in pink and teal bias tape that I hand painted detail on in acrylics. Tiny rhinestones finish the top detail.

Piece of the brown leather across the front of the chest, with a couple strips of thin brown leather detail around the neck and down the back. Added some rhinestones.
The white cotton material was used for the top, with delicately hand painted acrylic detail. There is a piece of pale gray wide bias tape on lower half. Same material with painted detail repeated for the bandana.

Earrings are large gold sequins of which I cut hoops out of 2. Then I cut smaller ones for the center detail, then put rhinestones in the middle. The magenta detail is maxi piping with blue ribbon wrapped around.

Tide Pods and candy? A meal? Noooooo slap a Mr. Yuck sticker on that mess!
As a artist, I have to go all out diving full speed nonstop, into putting my spin on a hand crafted work depicting my commentary on a absurd meme going around. These are a result of one of those times.

So… Tide Pods.. –sigh- are obviously not for eating. But you know, pair them on a plate with candy and who can tell the difference? Really? MR. YUCK CAN

I think that covers my explanation as to why these exist.

Pony bases are fakies. I have a lot of really cute fakies, and it’s high TIDE time I start using them! I left their original body colors so I could get them done faster and at lower costs.
Eyes, Tide Pod cutiemarks, detergent swirls and Mr. Yuck stickers are all painted in acrylic paints and sealed in Artists Varnish.

Manes and tails-
Pink/blue Pony pod- RetrodollsUS white frost bite bangs, nylon mlp dollyhair teal colors of mermaid/clover (can’t remember if it’s lucky or unlucky, so I’m just putting clover). Then the blue is Lapis Sapphire.

Orange/blue Pony pod- bangs of RetrodollsUS frost bite again, nylon mlp dollyhair in the colors blend of firebird/sunset then the blue is pacific ocean.

I took some beads and threaded hemp cord and ribbons through them to make little candies, and painted dots and stripes. Then cut out little silver faux vinyl fork earrings.

And there you have it. The wtf-ness of this fad is just glorious. You know, humanity…still gives Mr. Yuck a purpose.
