So I have a haul, and the post meet haul. Disco and I like hopping to overstock stores to check for things, and especially love Ollie’s.
This is the brushables and other little trinkets. I realize you could see some of my other collection behind there, so anything in the far background isn’t from Maryland.
This is the plush with the vintage Garfield container I got from the free table that couldn’t fit in the other shot. And honestly most of these plush were free because everyone’s so wonderful and generous. The unicorns came from the free table and were given by Jewel herself, and near the end of the afternoon when nobody took them I knew they had to be mine. XD Jewel later gave me Baby Pegasus because I have been cooing over him earlier in the day. Someone left Furball there (ALL my friends are jealous!). We got Twilight from the raffle, and I forgot who it was but when I ran over to look at the Sunny someone else got from the raffle table, they very generously gave her to me because I seemed really excited about her and I was. She’s a really good quality plush that apparently came from Kohl’s a couple of years ago. Very soft and huggable, everyone’s generosity blew me away as always.
And a real quick and dirty shot of the post meet haul, all grabbed from Ollies at extreme discount because that’s what they do. It does put us a few years behind collecting things but ya can’t put a price on affordability, you know? XD The more recent mini world magic series just arrived there so if anyone’s looking to complete that part of their collection, check your Ollie’s.
This was a great year at Maryland, and they are all great years. We look forward to them each and every time. I just wish we were better about names. It’s so hard even with everyone wearing tags. XD there’s no fix, unless I just start taking memory supplements.
