CONVENTION Maryland Pony Meet: April 27th 2024 -- TICKET SALES END on 4/21!

21st year?! OMG, I remember the first one, and the second one. I’m in Virginia so it’s the closest meet to me.
Either the first or second one I signed up for & I was going with another pony friend of mine, Becca - but I got sick at the last minute and wasn’t able to attend, I even have the T-Shirt somewhere…& now it’s the 21st Annual… that’s mind blowing. I’ve missed so much
I’m so happy that the meet up has had so much success over the years ❤️
I'm just returning & I won’t be able to build everything back up that is required to register in time. I will certainly try to catch next year’s!

Go ahead and apply! I am sure the team can get your records sorted out. Would love to have you there! :orangeheart:

That would be awesome to be able to go.
I may also be recovering from a major surgery (thyroid cancer) planned in a few weeks though too…my fiancee would have to go with me to help me and he’s not in the community (though he’s great at faking excitement everytime I get a new pony ) It is probably best I sit it out this year.
I ran right to the registration form and saw the requirements and became disheartened but he reminded me about the surgery anyways.

Thank you for the invitation though - provided the surgery goes well and I’m healthy, you’ll see me next year for sure.

I’m healing better then I assumed and I’ve decided that I will be attending as a vendor ❤️
Thank you everyone for the concern and encouragement you guys showed during this difficult time.

Best of luck for a smooth and swift recovery from your surgery, Paradise. <3

Anyone attending sell/make flutter pony replacement wings? I've almost used up all the ones I have and still have flightless babies to fix up.

Hi everyone! :)

I'm pleased to announce that the 21st annual MD Pony Meet has been scheduled for:
:star:Saturday, April 27th 2024! :star:

The theme will be none other than the Rockin' Beats ponies,
with our mascots Chesapeake and Skipjack ready to rock out, too!

Learn all about what makes the MD Pony Meet the largest and longest-running pony meet ever:

www.MDPonyMeet.com

Check out our highlights reel from 2023:

PLEASE NOTE:

The MD Pony Meet is a private event, and not open to the public.

Our attendance is limited due to our contracted venue and the number of people we can comfortably accommodate. While the MDPM maintains the record for the largest and longest-running pony meet in the world, we do not have plans to become a full-fledged convention of thousands. If we were to move to a larger venue at this time, our costs would skyrocket, and those costs would directly impact our entrance fees. Instead, we have chosen to stay with our current venue and continue to make the MDPM an easily affordable event for attendees to enjoy.

In order to ensure that our limited spots go to actual established pony collectors within the community (and not random people off the street/etc), all attendees complete a brief interview process upon registration. See the Register page for more details. Please allow 7-14 days for your registration to be reviewed if you are a new attendee.

Can a committee member please remind me which tables I've reserved. I'm pretty sure which 2, but I can't find the email conversation.

I just want to say, this looks like SO MUCH FUN!! So much pony friendship and love! :ponylove: I live on the west coast, but I would love to maybe be able to attend next year?! I can’t wait to see photos from this year’s meet, I know you guys will have a blast. :twohearts:

While you still have 2 years before you can attend the pony meet, there is a small convention in Maryland now! Check out Seaquestriafest in Ocean City in the Spring! Not only are younger fillies allowed, but there are even events specifically geared toward the younger pony fans! Just note that the events later in the evening, AKA "after dark" or "AD", are for legal adults only.
I'm from Ocean City.... why am I just hearing about this??????!!!!

Very excited to travel all the way from Kansas and to attend for the first time this year! I've been craving a pony meet since the one I attended in Oklahoma. Of course I love big events like PFF, but the smaller meets have their own charms! Last year and this year the Oklahoma meet hasn't been held, and I couldn't go to PFF last year because my mother was on hospice and passed away shortly before. So I definitely need this! Looking forward to take a day and explore Baltimore as well. I'll be bringing my husband, and this will be his first ever pony event! I think it will be a great way to introduce him to the community. I'd also like to say, @MustBeJewel , that your organization skills are impeccable. I've been very impressed with your attention to detail and how smooth the process is. Also, you are so good at graphic design and websites! Thanks for all you do!

I'm sorry for your loss, @dannahbanana <3

I am so glad that you'll be joining us this year though! :) And I think your husband might just enjoy it, too! We have several husbands, spouses, and significant others who enthusiastically participate in our games and events, and who are awesome sports and have a wonderful time. They really add to the fun atmosphere!

We also have a mini claw machine JUST full of "boy" toys that was put together with the husbands in mind. ;)

That's so kind of you to say--thank you! :happyhearts: It's really a passion project of mine, and while I like to think I've got it down pat, it's also an ever-evolving thing that grows and changes as years go by. I really can't imagine my life without my MDPM pony friends. :ponylove:

I will have lots of time to spend on Friday and I'm not sure if I want to spend it in Round 1 or a more Baltimore-specific place. We don't have a Round 1 here where I live!
I love thier crane games and photo booths! They sometimes have classic DDR and bowling too! If anyone else has interest maybe we could get a group going.

The Committee and I (and volunteers) will be spending Friday afternoon from 12-5 setting up the meet, but there is a whole page on the MDPM website that lists a bunch of local attractions to help you find something that might fit your fancy:

I saw! And thank you very much for providing such a good list of all the attractions. If I can't make up my mind what to do I'd also be more than happy to be an extra pair of hands to help set up. (Although I won't have a vehicle so I don't know how much help I'd be. : P)

Alas, my husband got into a car accident yesterday (don't worry, he's okay and so are the others involved). We'll be needing to replace his car and have other expenses that go along with that, so we decided it is best not to spend the money traveling all the way to Baltimore and staying there for now. We are trying to save up for a honeymoon later this year too. So I won't be attending this year after all! :( Maybe next year. Have fun everyone! <3
